It was Alex Wilder! “What?... Where… where’s my mother?” I asked, sitting up on a large bed. My voice sounded different, grown. The stranger claiming to be Alex looked at me like I had grown a second head. “She… She’s dead, Skye. She died when you were fourteen.” He said tentatively.

She saw flashes of lights from the figures in the sky. A bright light was going from one towards the other while the other person dodged and raised a counter attack, sending a red beam of light. It was like watching a movie for Mia. Everything seemed so when she suddenly realized that they were fighting. Right above her head a fight was going on. She couldn't believe what she was seeing.

Hakan warned as he stopped right next to Skye who has her eyes focused solely on the first claw machine that got her interest. “Despite how short I am compared to you, I am an adult and can handle myself. If I do ever get lost, I can ask around. So, please, for the love of god, don’t smother me,” she mumbled at him. Her voice announced their presence as he took his gaze off the screen. "Research," he replied, fixing his gaze back on the screen. Audrey narrowed her brow. "You are researching hot guys. Are you planning to turn into a hot guy because Ixora rejected you?" Audrey asked. Skye flickered her forehead. "Stop spewing trash." Audrey shrugged. "Just saying," she sat on the table. "Blake, what exactly are you searching for?" Skye asked. "A person who has the scent of obsidian veil," he replied.

Hail is still not awake and Jun and Sylv, together with Hierro, are watching over Hail. Hierro... Skye thought when he remembered Hierro’s blank expression that seemed to have been the default expression of his young and handsome face. Skye sighed and went down the horse when he reached the lake in the middle of the autumn forest. He saw this lake a couple of days ago while they were looking for Hail.

“We can catch up some other time. I really need to find Maya. She’s waiting for me.” Ava shakes her head, as she laughs. “No way, Skye! It’s your birthday, and I want you to meet my man. He’s right over there. Come on, it’ll take two seconds.” She waves her hand wildly in his direction, her voice rising. “Baby! Over here!” She said again.
