"Would you like to dance with me, Miss Stone?" Serena didn't even hesitate, she placed her small hand in his larger one. "Of course I would, Mr Blackwell." They both turned away and she let Damien led her to the dance floor, her movements one of ease. His hand slid around her waist as hers lifted to his shoulders, resting lightly on the broad frame. They started moving as the music reverberated. Adrian remained exactly where he was, watching them. He watched Damien hold Serena, watched Serena smile at him. Watched their bodies move together as if they were made to fit.

Serena flushed with whiskey fueled laughter then stood and with a mighty heave ripped open the remaining buttons (much to my surprise) on her blouse until her pale milky breasts spilled out for the men to enjoy. Sienna turned slowly, already knowing who she'd see. Serena stood three feet away, dressed in understated elegance, navy dress, minimal jewelry, hair pulled back in a style that made her look younger, softer. Nothing like the cold predator from Luca's study. Back to performing angel. "What are you doing here?" Sienna asked, keeping her voice low to avoid scene-making. "I saw the announcement for the show," Serena said. "Recognized your name. Thought I'd come see what my sister creates when she's not painting her heartbreak."

The eyes that had once seemed deep and devoted now darted toward me with nervous calculation. "Lena," he started carefully, "I regret everything. I know I was wrong. Will you give me another chance?"
