I wanted to run back and take the sheet fabric to cover my body again but I felt my knees weaken with how intense he was looking at me. He is not the Prince. They were just pierced, and hot, and glaring. His stares could make anyone tremble in their knees. “Apology accepted. So you are my son’s new whore? The one he has taken on the night of choosing.” The sound of his footsteps drew nearer.

"Alpha Jake, I apologize for disturbing you, but I find myself in a dire situation, and I'm in desperate need of your help." Alpha Jake could sense the gravity in Alpha Troy's tone and replied with concern, "Of course, Alpha Troy. Please, tell me what's happened." Alpha Troy wasted no time. She swallowed, still unsure. But then, her wolf stirred, impatient. Jake grinned. "Come on, princess. Show me what you’ve got." She rolled her eyes at the nickname but didn’t argue. Taking a deep breath, she let go. The shift was seamless, the cybernetic arm morphing with the rest of her body as if it had always been part of her.

Beside him, Jake looks like he’s just seen a ghost, his mouth hanging open. The elder woman who suggested the command stares at me in shock. "The only person who can refuse an Alpha’s command..." she whispers, her voice shaking with realization, "...is his true Luna. His fated equal." She looks at me with a mixture of terror and wonder. "Does this mean...?" Jake’s shocked expression turns into a look of pure awe. He looks at me, then at Adrian, a small smile breaking across his face. "You're the one," Jake breathes, his voice full of wonder. "You’re the true Luna." ***

Jake glared at her. Syila stuck her tongue out and looked directly at Adam who was stunned to see the interaction of her new model with her best friend. “You guys know each other?” Adam couldn't hide his curiosity. “No, I don't know him, Brother. Who is he?” Jake smiled faintly. “So, you mean you wanted to put me in with her, huh, Dam?” “Yes, but Rizki wants to replace you, so that's how it is.” Adam cleared his throat. He looked at Syila meaningfully. “He's Jaguar Adytama, or Jake, the guy I talked to you about earlier.”

“I am so glad you figured that out, Your Majesty. Maybe you should employ Drax. He would gladly take my place.” Nektarios scoffed, hiding a smile. He didn’t realize how much he missed coming down to the cabin. He and Damon get to share moments as friends and nothing else—the only person in his life who can get him to feel a sense of relaxation. Being happy isn’t precisely a notion known to someone like him. But at least he can have an everyday conversation that doesn’t involve playing the devil. “Drax will have me cursed out if I give him such a position. He already looks exhausted being the beta.” He mused.

Nyx stood beside him, arms crossed, her expression cold. The moment she saw me enter, she stepped aside and nodded. Jake didn’t bother to move. Nyx wasn’t only my Beta she was also the best fighter in the pack. Jake slowly lifted his head. His eyes were bloodshot, his breathing uneven. “Alpha.” “You attacked someone under my protection,” I said calmly. “Why?” Jake swallowed hard, but his jaw tightened stubbornly. “She shouldn’t be here,” he muttered. “Humans don’t belong in our territory.”

This statue was a beautiful blue dragon with a majestic blue crown on its head and azure blue eyes. Within the palace were three figures entwined in a fiery encounter. Of the three, two were humans. The other was a phantom of a small red dragon. The two humans had identical appearances, for they were twins, yet their auras were different. One of the twins had an aura similar to the blue dragon’s, whilst the other was a spitting image of the red dragon. These twins were Jake and John – Mane’s closest friends.

His usually hazel eyes, were nowhere to be seen; the obsidian color was now blooming where his hazel eyes should be. Denice slowly walked over to Jake and touched his cheek. For some reason, she felt compelled to do so. When she did, she spoke softly. “I need you to return Jake to us. We have to finish this conversation. I know it’s hard on both of you, as it is with me and Artemis, but Avery needs us; he hasn’t been able to speak to anyone about his hardships at his pack, even with his pack members. Jake, come back to us; your wolf can come out after we leave.” Denice removed her hand from his cheek and Jake’s eyes returned hazel. He looked at her bewildered; that wasn’t the only emotion he
