Warrior of the Way

Warrior of the Way

"You could have just handed her over to him." He snapped his head back around. "You want her killed? You know damn well what would happen to her if I let him take her." He flicked the end of his cigar into the creek. A small, feminine hand reached out of the water and threw it back. "What the…?" Tryna shrugged. "Naiad's don't like water pollution. Or cigars." Rhychard picked up the soggy butt and was about to toss it over his shoulder when Tryna held up her hand and stopped him. "Dryads are just as particular."

The Alpha's Christmas Sin

The Alpha's Christmas Sin

The sounds were specific and layered and entirely unconcerned with the passage of vehicles through them. Ava had her window down despite the cold. She was reading the night the way she had been reading everything since the shift, with the full capacity of the activated bloodline. "There's something in the water to the left," she said quietly. "Large. Not moving toward us." I looked. The water was invisible to human eyes from this angle and distance. "Alligator," I said. "This far into the bayou they're significant." "It knows we're here." "Everything out here knows we're here." I paused. "How does it feel? Reading the environment like this."

Winter Wolf

Winter Wolf

Anatashi had found him there one night after he'd been chased by a few Alphas from the pack. Wiping a tear from his eye, he sat by the pool’s edge, placed his palm over the water and a small bottle with a cork and deep purple liquid looking like Anatashi put her very life blood into the elixir came out of the water. Her wolf spirit is what turned the elixir this color, she explained to him. Just before leaving the oasis, Moon reached into a hole in the tree next to the pond and pulled out a letter, addressed to Tristan and his Royals. With his two prizes in hand he made his way back to Shyfter, Kurgi, and the Royals.

Marked From Birth

Marked From Birth

"There is only the Debt." The return to the Citadel was not a race; it was a funeral procession. Wherever the steam-sleds traveled, a wake of grey rot followed in Audrey’s path. The "Perfect" forest died as she passed, the sapphire glass shattering into dust. The Avatar was waiting at the gates of the Citadel. She had grown to thirty feet tall, her limbs now massive crystalline boughs. She looked at Audrey and screamed—a sound of pure, celestial static. "YOU BRING THE VOID INTO THE GARDEN!" the Avatar roared.

The Billionaire Vampire's Darling

The Billionaire Vampire's Darling

Etana extended her clenched hand, then opened it before Vero. In the palm of her hand was a small tube-shaped bottle. At first, Vero thought the bottle was empty, but then she saw a faint glimmer inside and realized that it contained silver-colored liquid. “This is holy water,” she said. “Put this water into Caravons Depth. It will disable their defenses, so I and the vampire hunters can enter, carrying our sacred weapons.” Vero looked up, unable to hide her astonishment. “What?” She swallowed nervously. “Are you planning to... start a war?”

Ava

Ava

“Com’on, don’t choke on your food. Here’s some water.” “I wonder why I can’t even eat in peace,” Ava said in between meals. Her eyes turned watery as she chewed and tried to swallow everything at once. “I’m sorry but I’m just curious. You love him right? “Aunt,” she breathed in and out trying to stay cool, “you know I moved in newly. I mean he’s been here before me. He is good-looking and he looks responsible too. Well, I think I like him.” “You think?” “I don’t even know his name.”

Angel

Angel

I wished he would turn around. He runs his hands through his wet hair, shaking out excess water. That's why I didn't see him. He dived and hid in the waters of the river, Suddenly, he looks back and sniffs the air. He turns and seems to look straight into my eyes. I didn't dare move. In fact, I stopped breathing. The blue eyes that looked at me seemed like two pieces of sky. They could only have been created by the Moon Goddess herself and placed in the perfect face that housed them. He goes back to sniffing the air and sneezes. I grinned like an idiot.

Black Angel Or African Gods

The Avatar didn't notice the blacklight, thus after eliminating the Black being, the Avatar moved in the opposite direction. Leaving behind, the floating, broken pieces of asteroids. That, Once, used to be the Black Water Continent.

Alpha's Regret: Reclaiming his Whisperer Luna

Alpha's Regret: Reclaiming his Whisperer Luna

Drenched in the downpour, I was consumed by the suffocating sorrow, paralyzed by the overwhelming weight of emotions. I was relying on my ability to spot prey within ten miles. But the countless droplets cascading from above, racing down in a frenzied race, obstructed my sight. It was like being stranded in a sea; all I could see was just water. “Water!” The Crystal Water Pack’s name was the answer to all the difficulties that crossed my mind at once. It was in the North, so I rushed to my car and called my Gamma. “Contact the Alpha of the Crystal Water Pack and deliver my message to send his army in the free district right now.

Definitely a read. This book left me with so many emotions. Crying to yelling at the characters in this book. Clearly this writer found their calling when becoming an author. About to start reading some of their other works now. Good job on this one though.
