Let them learn.” She lifted her hand, and from the flames emerged a small snowbird made of smoke and frost. It flew east, swift as a dagger. “Let the truth meet them in Aemrys.” By the third morning, the Temple’s ruins rose from the mist like teeth, jagged marble and ivy-twisted towers etched with runes long buried by time.

Releasing herself from his embrace, she turned to face the Chief Archon. "My Alpha, my Chief Archon, please guide me to cleanse my aura and accept my husband's Archon," Nara requested, kneeling before the Chief Archon of Aren. "Please, my Chief Archon, hear the plea of your servant who doesn't know how to do this." The Chief Archon approached Nara with a majestic and mysterious presence. His figure radiated with a golden light that enveloped his entire being, and his deep gaze seemed to pierce her soul. With a voice full of power and wisdom, he began to chant an ancient magical incantation that resonated throughout the place like an echo of eternity.

“Where are we, Misty?” I choke back my shock and whirl toward the wall, laying my hands against the cool stone. The rest of the hole is packed dirt. They say that there are so many documents there that it will take even a Lycan twenty lifetimes to explore all of them.

Zadicus smirked at them and entered the temple which had gleaming embeddings on its pillars, there were patterns of vines made out of Lava. “I guess that explains the temperature but how does it stay there?” Daphne mumbled, holding her chin, inspecting the patterns slowly.

Meanwhile, Alex and the others were probably no different from ants in his eyes. He had only kept disguising himself simply because he had an eye on Alex’s divine power. It could help him find Shoraionji Temple and drag it down. Now that the temple’s gate was wide open and the arhats had manifested, he no longer needed Alex. His life and death were unimportant. Whoosh! Five hundred golden-bodied arhats with imposing aura rushed out of Shoraionji Temple and surrounded the god of the Underworld. Each arhat glared at him with surging killing intent.

More than a dozen men and women were dressed in robes, surrounded by purple-gold lights. Judging by their auras, Thea could tell they were mostly at the Yitro Daeclon Rank. Amongst them, she spotted three familiar faces. She exclaimed, “Emperor Quinlan, Lord Finnian, Lord Dorian?”

She could sense it even now, vibrating beneath her skin. She shook her head. “There’s something you need to know. The visions—they’re no longer fragments.” Kael stilled. His scrutiny sharpened. “What visions?” She took a breath. “The Moon Temple isn’t our destination…” Her voice dropped. “It’s the beginning.” Kael’s brows drew together. “Explain.” Aria lifted her hand. With a flicker of concentration, a soft blue glow pulsed from her palm, swirling upward like a wisp of mist. It formed shapes—shadows, figures, something ancient—and then dissipated in a quiet burst.
