At the Heartspring cave, the soft hum of the water was a relief they could feel, the pool glowed with calm light, a sanctuary from the growing dark. They all knelt at its edge, silent, drank deep, splashed water on their faces, let the cool peace soak in. For a few moments, there was no Code, no Scourge, no hate, just water and breath. Behind the Trawler, the "Actual" universe began to ripple, revealing that the darkness wasn't space. It was Water.

For a moment I just shifted my gaze to the other side but he turned my face back to face him. “Are you shivering?” He frowned.

It has smooth black fur, and its yellow eyes are somewhat cold, but when being rubbed by Selina, it retracts its combative evil. He asked anxiously, his gaze wandering to the table which had a different assortment of snacks and food on it but he quickly looked away because Mother had asked him not to eat anything until she got back.
