“Better yet, you need to go take a cold shower to cool that hot head of yours.” “Like hell I do!” He snaps. “Can’t you see that they were…” “Talking,” Uncle Jose offers, ignoring my swollen lips. “Did you have a nice chat, Serenity?” He continues, turning his gaze toward mine. “Find out anything interesting?” “Actually,” I begin, wondering if now was the time to discuss this when my father was on a rampage. “We…” “Remembered how the rogues were created.” Maverick finishes for me. “That’s great, but how does that help us?” My father huffs. “It isn’t the rogues that are of concern. It is that bastard who stole my daughters blood!”

They all agreed and we moved on to the next topic of discussions. “There has been a report that rogues keep destroying people's farm fields. They are beginning to become uncontrollable” someone announced. “You must have also heard that Alpha Thor's successor, Rick, has been the one sponsoring this madness, he has been working with Dolcie's father too. Before today ends, I want the rogues to be smoked alive. Once they find out that their messengers have been killed, that should be the beginning of their repentance, knowing that they could also be next to die any time soon” I said to them.

Ethan´s POV Discovering the truth about our son was a revelation that shook me to my core. As time went on, the undeniable proof became impossible to ignore. He had that distinctive mark on his paw, a mark identical to Alpha Roger's. It was a clear indication of his parentage, a living testament to Aline's infidelity. But what struck me even more were the strange powers our son began to exhibit. It was as if the very essence of Alpha Roger had been transferred into him. These abilities were beyond anything I had ever seen before, and I couldn't deny the eerie resemblance to the magician.

“What is it?” Dad’s face is bitter as he begins. “You know that Roy, Nova’s father, is the second son of Beta Roran. What you don’t know is that Roy was always angry that he was the second. That he would never have the title, the power, or the strength that his brother Robert had. He was constantly causing fights between the two, sneaking around trying to get Robert in trouble, and just generally being a pain in the ass to everyone.”

As he screams out, I drive the dagger into his chest and he falls to the ground. In general, rogues are weaker than wolves that belong to a pack. They don't have the strength that comes from the unity of being in a pack. Wolves are social creatures, and their wolves weaken significantly without that bond to an Alpha. Many rogues are on their own for years before they join other rogues, so they weaken a great deal. However, just because these rogues are weaker, they have the upper hand right now. With just four more to go, I can feel my body becoming sluggish. All my energy sources have been depleted in the last five weeks and I'm just running on pure adrenaline at this point.

“Shall we see what demands he has for you today?” I don’t turn away from the window. “Open it.” I wait as Rainier does as I say and begins reading the letter. It’s the same demands as before. King Peter is willing to overlook all transgressions if I release his son Jacob and marry his daughter Opal. He refuses to believe that I’m not the father of her unborn baby. I have never touched Opal as her personality repulses me.

I tried to conceal it, because I know for sure that alpha males can feel whenever a female is fantasizing about them. He turned his back, and looked at me, "I want their blood to be examined, I want to know why they smelled different, but seemed weak to be a rogue." "Aren't rogues weak?" were the first words that I mustered to say, "I mean, they are rogues, right? They are supposed to be weak."

“I’m glad you like him, but that doesn’t change the fact that he can’t be your son. It’s not possible.” “He is, and it is, Vivian.” Valentine looks back down at me. “I promise you, it is. I’m not a normal human. That is why it is possible. He IS my son. Marvel is my kid. We even look alike, Vivian. You can’t deny that.” I bit my lip timidly. I can see the resemblance. I have always seen the similarities between the man in front of me and my son. It almost hurt at times, seeing how much my child resembled a man I couldn’t get out of my mind and oddly yearned for.

Alexei is the rogue Alpha.” My stepfather’s jaw almost drops to the ground, his eyebrows furrow in puzzlement. “What?” Blake inhales. “Alexie is the Alpha of the rogues. He told me earlier when he grabbed Roxy. He claims she is his Luna.”

“You want to speed up an operation that has been months in the planning because you are jealous of another man raising your bastard?” “I want to act while we still have the advantage.” I met his eyes even though it felt like staring into an abyss. “And yes. I want my son to know his real father. I want him to grow up with me controlling his future instead of watching Dominic turn him into something I did not create.” The Rogue King started laughing. It was a horrible sound that echoed off the metal walls. “You are pathetic. You know that? Risking everything because you cannot stand the idea of losing a child you never had the courage to publicly claim.”
