The hermit Ryder Quin never thought that one day, her crush of three years now, the very handsome Aiden Caley, would suddenly want to be her friend. Kahit gaano man ka bagal ang lakad ng isang pagong kung dala niya ang kanyang sapat na determinasyon makakarating parin siya sa kanyang paruruunan. Ang pagkakaroon ng matatag, matapang at mapang-unawa na katuwang sa buhay ay isang biyaya ng panginoon. Ako ay matatawag na nagmula sa madilim na nakaraan. Mula sa sirang pamilya, kinamumuhian ang haligi ng tahanan dahil pinagpalit niya kami sa kanyang kabit. Maswerti na rin kami dahil may matapang at matatag kaming ina na nagsumikap para kami ay gabayan. Napakaswerti rin niya ng muling nakatagpo ng kabiyak na handang tumayo bilang aming ama. Pinangako ko sa aking sarili na hindi ko gagayahin ang aking ama. Pinangako kong panindigan ko ang pamilya bubuuhin. Ngunit sa isang kapusokan nakagawa ako ng isang kasalanan na lingid sa aking kaalaman. Tanadhana ng diyos na mapalapit ako sa babae na kapatid ng aking nagawan ng kasalanan. Minsan kong hinusgahan sa kasalanan na hindi naman niya ginawa. Naging roller coaster ang buhay pag-ibig namin. Pero sabi nga nila gaano man kalakas ng bagyo at unos sisibol parin ang isang liwanag na magbigay pag-asa na tapos na ang kalamidad.

IT WAS late afternoon when Andy began to pick up the clothes she had hung up this morning, but she stopped what she was doing when she heard shouts and footsteps outside their backyard as if those people are in a hurry. So she peeked through the hole in their wall that is already brittle. But to her surprised, someone suddenly jumped out from the outside and entered their yard-- a man wearing a black hoody jacket. "W-who are you?!" Andy managed to ask, so the man turned slightly to her which caused her to see the man’s face. "Shit," that's all the man said and ran away... carrying her... "Hey, shit! My panties, give them back to me!" Andy shouted but he didn’t look at her again. Her panty which was hung outside was taken by a stranger. And now, the question running to Andy’s mind is… ‘Who’s that guy who stole my panty?’

Pada tahun 2280 dunia sudah memasuki era digitalisasi. Seluruh umat manusia memiliki avatar di metaverse. Populasi manusia yang meningkat tajam menyebabkan tempat tinggal manusia semakin menyempit. Dunia metaverse dikendalikan oleh Paraduta, mengakibatkan dunia nyata juga masuk kedalam kendali mereka. Metaverse dipimpin oleh seorang Adhiraj. Osiris adalah Adhiraj pada masa Arun, ia juga adalah sepupunya Arun. Arun bisa dibilang termasuk kedalam elit bangsawan. Akan tetapi, Arun tidak suka itu semua. Arun memilih hidup bebas dibandingkan berbaur dengan elit-elit kaku tersebut. Arun suka bermain balapan liar di metaverse dan berteman dengan Gurem, julukan rakyat jelata di Metaverse. Kehipan Arun berjalan biasa saja, walaupun kadang ada naik turunnya tetapi secara keseluruhan, kehidupannya berada ditingkat yang hampir membosankan. Sampai suatu ketika, terjadi booming Bugs di Metaverse. Pasukan Penjaaga Keamanan Metaverse (PPKM) bekerja siang dan malam hampir tiada henti untuk memusnahkan Bugs yang mengganggu kehidupan di Metaverse. Kalau hanya itu saja kejadian yang menimpa Metaverse, pasti Arun akan tetap santai-santai seakan tidak terjadi apa-apa, soalnya hal seperti sudah biasa terjadi di Metaverse. Tapi kali ini berbeda, Arun dituduh bersekutu dengan dalang dibalik New Bugs ini. Arun yang hidupnya biasa saja tiba-tiba menjadi roller coaster, gali lubang tutup lubang untuk menutupi kebohongannya agar alibinya bisa dipercaya. Duduk perkaranya, Arun bersumpah dia tidak bersalah, tapi peliharaan barunya yang dia ambil dari daerah Gurem, memang agak mencurigakan. Apalagi ditambah Laksamana Bayanaka, orang nomor 1 yang sangat terpandang di Metaverse, mencurigai Arun dan selalu mengawasi gerak-geriknya. Gawat.
