Lilith's POV: “I…I…d…don’t know why that keeps happening,” I sputtered to him, as my cheeks filled with color. “Because we have undeniable chemistry,” he said, with his trademark, cocky smile. He was feeling pretty good at that moment. it looks to me like he hadn’t planned on starting his day out ravishing me but he could think of far worse things he could’ve been doing. “I don’t sleep with strangers,” I blurted out.

When I eventually struggled to look at the diagrams in the book, it felt like my brain matter had exploded and that was probably when I passed out. Ate better and had more positive thoughts. But that diary seemed to have triggered something in me tonight. I opened the small pill box. Only to find it empty. The last of the pills were gone. I can’t even remember the last time I took them. I suddenly felt cranky and very, very angry. I went through every corner of the car. But still no luck. My head hurt like it was about to explode.
