This had to work. The last I’d heard of the yellow wolf’s bane, it was being used by a pack of wolves known as the Red dawn who were based out in the Borderlands. They were however, not a very welcoming lot. Shit! This was going to be difficult. I wasn’t looking forward to meeting the mad doctor they called an Alpha. Her reputation of sadism and diabolical experiments were well known in these parts. Rumor even had it that she was hideously deformed, looking more beast than woman. Even her betas were said to possess the strength and speed of two werewolves combined into one.

Her call is an echo on the wind, a summons to battle that cannot be ignored. Beside her appears a pair of wolves, Aoron and Eta. They connect with the werewolves, seeking compatible partners amidst the pack. Together, they unleash a powerful howl and charge towards the Drider. They attack from all directions, their claws and teeth deadly weapons that tear and rend. Gradually, they manage to break all the Drider's legs, incapacitating it.

Adasha The wolves emerged silently, their golden eyes gleaming with intensity. Their movements were deliberate, practiced, and lethal. I froze, my breath catching in my throat. How had they gotten so close without me sensing them? I cursed myself for my lapse in vigilance. The relief of escaping Randy had blinded me to the dangers of these unfamiliar woods. There were too many of them. My heart raced as I took in their numbers—this wasn’t a rogue ambush. These wolves belonged to a pack. Their scent carried strength and unity, and judging by their size and discipline, they were Betas. Fierce, loyal, and utterly unforgiving.

The air was cold, and the night was dark. But it doesn’t matter for the young wolf. What is cold to his thick, coarse fur– what is dark for his eyes that sees better in the shadows? This is his first night as a Delta Guard. Finally, a part of the pack and not just a litter pup. He runs through the woods, feeling the tree branches snap as he passes them by. Squirrels and rabbits, foxes and deers, all make way as they sense him near. Is this what freedom feels like? Is this what power is? The wilderness calls and he answers.

He paused, laughing to himself like what he had just said was funny. “I thought maybe we’d run into one of those demon beasts,” he continued. “I didn’t even think that my weapons would come in handy for other things, not until I saw those things over there.” He raised an eyebrow and pointed at the dead rogues behind him. “You wouldn’t believe the shock on my face when I saw those dirty, wild scary looking rogues stepping out of the trees, the kind of wolves that don’t belong anywhere. The kind of wolves we were warned about since we were pups and what did you do when you saw them, Alpha Kaden?”

They will let me hide out with my new bride. I run for the cabin at the farthest end of the wolf property. Most wolves think it is abandoned, but it is not. There are elite wolves there, and they can help me. They will worship Alanis. Two elite wolves, Alanis and I, we will be immortalized by the elite wolves that want to break away from Alpha Erick and Luna Kate.

The uncertainty gnawed at me. I flipped through the pages, absorbing every detail. The text described the white wolves' abilities in vivid detail: their capacity to heal wounds with a touch, to manipulate the elements, and to draw strength from the earth itself. These abilities were a direct gift from the moon goddess, who had created the white wolves to maintain balance and harmony in the world. The other wolves, lacking these divine gifts, grew resentful and ultimately conspired to wipe out the white wolves to eliminate the perceived threat to their own power.

I am the Grand Alpha, the unchallenged leader of the most powerful wolf clan in the world. Wolf Academy? It’s no ordinary school. It’s a training ground for wolves, a place where they learn to follow my orders. I am feared, and rightfully so. I’m the most dangerous man alive. My senses are sharper, my reflexes faster, my body heals in seconds, and when I attack—it’s brutal. All thanks to Kris, my red-eyed wolf. He’s the deadliest wolf across all clans. I run this city. Yet, the wolf hunters threaten to destroy my clan and end my rule.

Was he as cold and rude as Greyson was? He's the same. Greyson is an alpha. Alphas wolves are...well, themselves. So...Greyson's wolf is...Greyson? Yeah. When a werewolf is born, they will either unite with their wolves and create one being...thus becoming an alpha, or they will create two personalities. Most werewolves fall into that category. Huh. So...if I hadn't blocked you as much as I did, we might've been an alpha? Maybe. There's no way of knowing now.

Verina’s wolves fanned out on either side of her, all of them large, dark, with glowing red eyes, crouching down, ready to hurl themselves at my pack. My wolves were equally prepared, stooping low, finding their centers of gravity so they could launch off of the ground and meet any attack midair. Or be the first to strike.
