Mr Shawn was feeding the baby. "Going somewhere?" asked Mr Shawn. "Yeah, but looking at this sorry sight, I just lost interest," replied Abigail as she walked towards Mr Shawn and took the baby from his arms. "What are you doing?" asked Mr Shawn with a frown. "Helping," replied Abigail. "I am your wife too, forgotten," she added. Mr Shawn sighed and allowed Abigail to take the child from him. "So, what is her name?" asked Abigail. Mr Shawn replied, "Lily, Lily Shawn," he shut his eyes and stopped the tears threatening to fall.

Sliding my hands into his, we make our way towards the crowd and greeted everyone. "Hey, loa! It's been a while." Carter gives me a side hug and I smile. "It has, hasn't it. We're all so caught up." He nodded his head curtly and walked out of the room, throwing Bailey a wink, which she smiled to, on his way out. Bailey heard Alessandro growl lowly as he shot daggers with his eyes at Sloan. Sloan sat in the living room awaiting Bessie's arrival . She had not seen her throughout the whole day and it was Past four in the evening already . She was very worried at the same time if Bessie would do harm to the baby like she threatened days ago . “ Hailey ! ” she called “ Hailey ! ” Sloan called louder than the first time “ I am here my Lady ” Hailey replied rushing out of the kitchen with an apron tied to her neck “ must you always be as sluggish as a snail ” Sloan hurls insultingly

“Thank you for the compliment. I’m Leah. And you must be from the Blackwell clan?” The man stood and reached out a hand to her, which she reluctantly shook. “Yes. I’m Theodore Blackwell. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” Leah sat down on the sofa next to her father facing Theo and assessed him. He seemed nice enough, but would he be strong enough in the future to stand by her side when she eventually took over the Sullivan clan. Leah doubted it. The man may be kind of charming, but charm didn’t win fights. If her clan were ever to be attacked in the future, Leah didn’t think she would be able to depend on him to have her back.
