Drake knew that his words had caught him off guard because he just stood there looking at him with his mouth open a little bit. Drake leaned back and let his body loosen up as he waited for his answer. Even though he had known Dillon since they were kids, he was still the Alpha, and he didn’t like being questioned. "That's bullshit"I overheard Drake say it to his friends, he laughs. I look at him, and I can't help but smile. He is so handsome, with his dark brown eyes and his perfect lips that always seem to be smiling. His hair was cut short and he had a nice tan complexion that made him stand out from the rest of us in class.

I heard a hush sound and everyone started talking at once before they were ordered to stop talking. Drake introduced me to all of the eight-pack elders. They all had long white beards. They all seemed genuinely pleased to meet me which was a relief. After that, he introduced me to his betas. I had met beta Justin, but still, he reintroduced him and also his mate Rose. I was surprised when Rose got up and hugged me. He introduced Mark as his sub-beta. That was the first time I heard of such a thing but Drake had already proven himself smart and if he had a sub-beta then it was a very good idea. Mark's mate was Kate and they both shook hands with me.
