Tangled In Scales
The nagas.
Some lay coiled together in the shade, their bodies half-submerged in the shallow pools. Females rested peacefully, their glowing eyes half-lidded as their mates curled protectively around them, tails intertwined. Their scales shimmered in the sunlight, rich in color—deep greens, vibrant blues, and striking purples.
Then there were the children.
Young nagas darted through the streams, chasing each other with delighted hisses, their laughter echoing through the open air. Others slithered through the grass, their tiny hands reaching for insects or splashing playfully in the ponds.
