Gam and I stood side by side in front of the door, and, oddly enough, his presence was… oddly comforting.
Mate… my wolf purred inside me.
Don’t even think about it, Reahn… I thought, addressing my wolf by name. Your screwed up mate assessments are what got into this mess in the first place.
“You ready to head inside Sirrela?” Gam asked, facing the door head on. I was suddenly annoyed with Reahn, and Gam by default, since he’s the idiot being addressed in our little chat.
“Don’t come in… I’ll fill my mum in on everything, get all our things, and then we’ll leave. I don’t want you or your weird energy and vibes around my mum.” I said to him, hoping to hurt him with my stiff, rude words.
