If Harry didn’t recognise me somewhere in his subconscious, he wouldn’t tell me anything. ‘He could recognise the mate bond between you and Luther.’ I sigh because Shadow is right. But it’s nice to think that Harry might remember me a little. I can dream, right?

I giggle and take Nicklaus from Uhtred for some much-needed baby cuddles then I open more presents from people, my sisters got me clothes and shoes, my little brother got me Harry Potter Bluetooth headphones, which are super cool but also a really strange gift. But then Troy hands me a big box with a new laptop and I suddenly realise what the headphones are for.
