Shadow Hunter

Shadow Hunter

she said, finding my confused gaze again. "Aaron? But their nests are impossible to find. Not unless... light have mercy," I said, feeling like I'd been punched in the chest. "We're gonna go," Lills mumbled, getting to her feet. I nodded, too lost for words to find the one's that would make her stay. Scorchers were dangerous, a militia that stood outside the rules and laws the rest of us lived by. They were those who'd committed their lives to the destruction of every non human creature beyond the borders of the Diarna, the furthest mining town in the south. They married their work and bred for numbers. They were smart, strong and loyal to a fault and would rather see our entire world blaze

Wolfbane

Wolfbane

I was familiar with it as that was where we got our wolfsbane darts supply, which would explain how the rogue was able to obtain them. We stormed in to be greeted by the brothel’s madam, an older lady who was desperately hanging on to her youth through Botox and hair extensions. I’d met her once before. Normally my father picked up the supply, but I’d gone with him a couple of times to become familiar with the operation. “Mr. Adalwolf.” She nodded at me. “Here without your father?” “My father is dead,” I replied. “Which is why I’m here. One of your employees is likely responsible for his murder.”

Chloe asked slowly, not totally believing what she was hearing. "No." Dagmar. "You're not part demon. But you're not completely a werewolf either." "So, what am I?" Chloe asked. "That is something we need to find out." Dagmar sighed. "Someone has put a block on you." "A what?" "It's a type of spell," Ursula replied, a troubled frown on her face as she studied Chloe. "They can be used for different things like blocking someone's presence so they can't be detected or blocking someone's abilities. But if that's the case, why didn't I sense it?"

Amaria

Amaria

This Mysterious figure tapped the feet of the Daemon boar and whispered, “ Horc, These are the commands your master has given to you, once you are done, you shall be free ” A red rune circle appeared on the forehead of the Horc. Horc is the name given to all Daemon boar specie. It is said that these Horcs are the weakest of the Daemon kind but with a little boost, they can surpass even a C-class five-star mage or swordsman. For someone like Amaria -who isn't a mage like Teresa and Dove nor a mana using swordsman like Elex - she wouldn't stand a chance with a Horc, boost or no boost.

my father questioned. “Because we need to save my mother first. Our enemy is a bigger deal than we could’ve ever imagined,” she replied. King Aragon turned to King Brennus, shooting him a look. “Carlton is Eligor.” “As in the dark wizard from Advalur?” my grandfather asked. “The very one,” King Brennus confirmed. “How is that possible?” my father asked.

The Demon Contract

The Demon Contract

“That’s not Lord Basille.” “It’s not…who is it then?” Ruben asked cautiously surveying the huge creature. “His Commander, Boglan.” . The demon, Commander Boglan, was looking around at them amused, taking in the hooded and tranced warlocks around the protective circle he was being held in. He was huge, standing nine feet tall and massive. Bare chested with a large battle axe and long horns curling up from his head he looked like he had just stepped out of a fantasy video game.

Her steely gaze held disappointment and sadness. I don't give a damn, though. She can join the club. Bastian, a dragon shifter from the dragon realm, came to see me and his gaze held disappointment too. It also contained the added touch of anger, which I deserved. In my grief over the death of my beloved bride, I tried to kidnap Bastian's son, Ashrac. The human bride of Laryn, another of my dragon brothers, tried to stop me. I practically burned her to a crisp, incinerating most of her body. The horror of what I did haunts me, and forgiveness is not what I seek.

Rex replied, gritting his teeth. “The tentaculum?” “I didn’t win though.” “You killed the beast called Balrog. I remember Lizz speaking about that at great length.” “Hold up!” Skul said, standing up and raising his hand, both Kiri and Skul were both staring at him now, “YOU were the one who killed the named beast Balrog?” “Well yes, but I had help,” Rex said, starting to object. “You killed a beast that escaped me. Wow does that make me feel inadequate, I was told it left this realm to inhabit another, so I lost my chance,” Kiri sighed, her lips pushed into a thin line as her face went pensive.

Bound to the Dark King

Bound to the Dark King

Despite my reluctance to make him a warrior, his eagerness to stand with us in battle was undeniable, prompting me to make him my right-hand man. In the dead of night, my warriors and I stood vigilant on the expansive plains of our land. Recent attacks by a mysterious breed of Lycans had left us on edge. These creatures were unlike any we had ever faced, and their fighting skills were different; their ability to camouflage and mask their scents made them nearly invisible until they struck. Driven by a thirst for blood, they posed a threat we had never imagined. We didn't know when they infiltrated our pack. It was Soren who found a way to identify them, revealing their presence among us. Unl

LYRA. I tried to run, but my feet felt heavy as if rooted to the spot. The rogue's eyes gleamed with a feral intensity, their teeth bared in a snarl. I raised my hands, palms facing them, and summoned a weak burst of energy to defend myself. But he was too strong, too fast. He knocked my hands aside and pinned me against the wall, his claws digging into my shoulders. I struggled, kicking and squirming, but he was too strong. A fist slammed into my stomach, and I gasped for air. Another blow struck my head, and everything went blurry. I felt myself falling, but they caught me, holding me up with a cruel grip.
