He scowled at me but got in. “Do we have a supermarket nearby?” I asked, scanning the streets as we drove. “Not exactly,” Mum said. “But we’ll just circle the block. There has to be something.” Sure enough, a few minutes later, we pulled up to a place called SUPAMART. I burst into laughter the second I saw the name. Daniel looked at me, confused. “What’s so funny?” “I don’t know. The name—it just sounds… ridiculous.”

Her uneasiness showed in front of Arabella that she wanted to flee immediately. Trishia sneered at them stubbornly before she left Arabella and Farrah in peace. “Spoiled brat!” Farrah muttered as she rolled her eyes. “Farrah, help me, I need to talk to Trishia’s mom.” Arabella whispered. “What? Why?” Farrah was confused. “It’s important.” Arabella quickly strode out of the store and Farrah followed behind with a very puzzled expression. The mall was one of the high-end malls in Capital Z owned by Sky Corporation. Most celebrities and people with money came here to shop. Aside that it’s complete with international brands, it was uncrowded.

I forgot about him after a few minutes, and he just let us be. We went into one of my favorite stores on the Promenade, a toy shop that has everything, from all your regular Barbies and toys to giant statues of Star Wars characters. There were hundreds of different models, antique dolls with beautiful dresses, chess sets painted to mimic Alice In Wonderland and Star Trek characters, Japanese sci-fi mecha, and all sorts of crazy foreign toys. We went in several funky clothing shops, a couple of bookstores, and the Apple store, too. When Connor saw me playing with a $2500 laptop, he asked, “You like it?”

All the quaint shops sold a variety of couture, many of which were exported abroad and were highly sought after. The second floor housed luxury boutiques, dessert shops, an amusement park, and bars. It was a one-stop shop for all kinds of entertainment. Although Lucy had concerns on her mind, she could not help but feel relaxed upon seeing the vibrant scenery. She happily wandered from place to place, while Matthew and Charlotte struggled to keep up as they followed her around the mall. “Charlotte, Matthew, look at this! It’s a talking rabbit! That’s so funny!” Lucy held up a plush rabbit and pressed its belly. The rabbit bounced up and said, “Goofball, you’re such a big goofball!”

After they arrived at the mall , they started to look around the stores and surprisingly bought a lot of things which they didn’t initially think they would buy . Madam Laura and Antonio were having so much fun that nearly three hours passed without understanding it at all . “ We sure bought a lot of things . “ said madam Laura . “ You look amazing in the clothes we bought , especially the fur coat . “ said Antonio .

Scott brought a backpack with him, saying only that it made it easier to shop and that it had something in it they'd need for later. They stopped to look at the directory, and though there were many names that Rayan already recognized, most of the stores he'd never heard of. Apparently this place was an outlet mall?
