(Selena's POV) The moment I stepped into my car, locked the door, and exhaled—I broke. Tears slipped down my cheeks silently, like they've been waiting behind my lashes, impatient and burning. My hands clutched the steering wheel like it could anchor me in a world that suddenly tilted sideways. I was used. Just like a pawn in the sick chess match between two brothers—one fueled by cruelty, the other by pain and vengeance. And I was the battlefield, the collateral damage.

I was feeling proud of how bold I sounded, until the back of my neck prickled, like I’d been targeted by some predator. Slowly, I turned my head and met a pair of chilling eyes. Leon? Damian turned off the ignition, and he sat frozen for a second, staring at the shapes of more bikes waiting in the dark with their riders standing beside them. “Out,” someone ordered. Damian opened the door slowly and stepped out, and his legs felt weak. He glanced around, trying to see faces, but most helmets stayed on. A few men had their visors up, and on their jackets, he finally saw the insignia clear: a snarling wolf head above two crossed knives. The words below read Brothers Of Steel. A heavy hand grabbed Damian’s arm and shoved him forward, and he stumbled, catching himself before he fell. Another man pushed at his shoulder until he dropped to his knees on the gravel.

Because his soldiers are obedient and really loyal, unlike the soldiers of other commanders, they only know how to scheme. Brandon just sighed. "Thank you for bringing this to my attention," he said, his voice tinged with resolve. Now, they don't need to be under another commander. "From now on, we stick together. We watch each other's backs, and we trust each other implicitly.
