No one has found the bodies yet, though, so theres still a lingering hope out there that they're alive. I sigh as I crawl under the thick quilt, flicking on the lamo beside me as I pull out my latest find at Barnes and Nobels: The Winter Garden by the famous Kristin Hannah. This woman's books are truly amazing. Then, after an hour long reading session, I find my eyes beginning to shut against my will, so I set down the book on the bedside table and shut off the lamp. ~ The next morning...

No Nut November month started on a busy note as more students crammed into the library for studying sessions. The reading program for elementary students meant more people were borrowing books they usually didn’t read to collect stars on their reading cards to exchange some prizes decided for the school. Mary sighed. It was a busy week.

"Hello Miss, how can I help you?" "Do you have David Wong books here?" "Sure, follow me!" Sana says cheerfully and walks inside. The woman follows her behind, looking around the store. Seems like she is a new customer here. After five minutes, the woman comes out with a David Wong novel and gives it to me. I scan the barcode on the book and the price appears on the cash register. She pays using her card and I give the book back to her and wish her a good day. She then smiles at me and walks out of the shop, happily.

Or perhaps it’s just that she knows her daughter too well. “We can go to B&N tomorrow if you have time, I’ll pick the books up then.” That makes me smile as I read Lilly’s message. I’m a total Barnes & Noble addict. The thought of it makes me tingle and I already know I’ll blow a fortune on books. Good job my father has a library just for me downstairs. “Perfect it’s a book date, Lilly.” “Okay, honey. I’ll let you read and don’t forget to message me if you hear anything.”

The woman reached into her apron pocket and pulled out an envelope. She handed it to Jewel, who took it hesitantly. "Open it," the woman urged. Jewel opened the envelope and read the words inside. Congratulations! You have been selected to participate in the Summer Reading Program. Your participation has helped earn you a free gift.
