Silenced Bride, Relentless Love

Silenced Bride, Relentless Love

“So was I.” Thomas laughed quietly. “Good.” “Good?” “It would have been lonely being the only one.” Fair point. Across the lawn, Nova stood with Daniel and Mia discussing university plans. The conversation appeared serious. Important. Exciting. Terrifying. Possibly all three. Mia noticed Adrian watching and waved him over. Naturally. “We need adult opinions.” “That sounds dangerous.” Daniel nodded immediately. “It is dangerous.” Nova looked toward him. “Mia got accepted into the summer science program.”

Tasting Summer

“We’re recruiting more wolves. Ezra wants to reshuffle his close-knit team. I want you to enter and work under me.” My jaw dropped. I think my heart stopped, I died and came back to life. “Are you serious? You want me in the army?” “Summer, I want you in special tasks. I don’t know anyone more qualified than you. Even without a wolf, you were wonderful. You’ll make me the proudest Father if you take this opportunity.” I nodded enthusiastically. Dad smiled and squeezed my shoulder. “It’s not easy. You have to undergo training and trials. You have to beat everyone you come up against Summer. Rachel’s entered too and—”

Fake To Fall

Fake To Fall

Spoiler alert: I am not. It started innocently. I was scrolling through my academic email while chewing on a stale protein bar and avoiding grading ten research papers on attachment styles. And then—bam. There it was. An email titled: CONGRATULATIONS! Welcome to Midlake's Summer Creative Couples Residency! I blinked. Then I blinked again. The email said I’d been selected for a two-month, all-expenses-paid retreat in the mountains. Just me, my "partner," and our shared creative journey. A $50,000 grant for couples who want to blend art and therapy.

We Were One

We Were One

She'd finally be able to enjoy the summer days at the river and lake without being so pooped out. Madeline would be continuing most of her education online, but Maggie would be attending a nursing school a few towns away and staying in a dorm all week. So they were making the most of the rest of the summer. We'd gotten together already twice this past week where we closed out the lake in the evening while we sat around the bonfires, smoking out for a bit before heading home. The summer was still warm enough for lake and river outings, and with just a few weeks to spare before Maggie left town, Madeline was adamant about spending as much time with her as possible.

The camp would include various programs ranging from arts and crafts to survival training, all practical skills that could still be fun for kids. “But I think we need to discuss the issue of illiteracy in the packs,” Alanna mused, tapping her chin thoughtfully. “Many children don’t continue practicing their reading and writing skills outside of school, unfortunately.” “We need a program that will make it fun without making it seem like school or homework,” one of the other Lunas muttered. “Yes,” another Luna sighed. “Last year, our book club was a flop—too many kids didn’t want to do their assigned reading, feeling like it was too much like work.”

Sep. 10 2:45a: The repeat chapters have been taken down! Go back to Chapter 350 it’s new chapters! The gap that was originally missing. At 370 when the “repeat” started is where those chapter should’ve started. 350-359 all new chapters! Gap that we were all missing and wondering about! Let’s read!!!

We know the writing is not easy... ,the book is great ,really interesting ,what’s pulling readers away from the book is because it’s slow paced , now we are not saying u should make it rushed and we are also not saying u should make it slow , just make it to everyone liking that people won’t complain

Scarred by fate

Scarred by fate

“Every summer, we focus on endurance work for the warriors. With better weather, we utilize the obstacle course more frequently and incorporate lake swims. However, after observing Zahra over the past few months, I’ve realized there’s far more untapped potential in our pack. Too many warriors—and even some pack members—are coasting through training. If everyone put in the effort Zahra does, we’d be unstoppable.” Austin shifts in his seat, nodding in agreement. Greg continues, “With that in mind, I devised a more challenging summer program this year. It’s not just about improving the pack—it’s about preparing for the Alpha King’s Tournament next summer. We have approximately 30 wolves who cou

In The Summer, Where Cicadas Buzz

The snow-white petals bloomed delicately against my pale fingertips, and that memory had pushed him to leave that small house in a hurry. He continued along the path, but it seemed endless. Anxiety clawed at his chest, and he pressed his hand over his heart, feeling it pound violently. Before the hypnosis ended, Ethan found himself awake. The psychiatrist held the notebook from the session. Words filled the pages. [Fall University. Going to Fall University. Take Sadie to Fall University. Fall University on Richmond Road.] “Mr. Jones, your memory seems to be jogging. I suggest you visit Fall University,” the psychiatrist said, laying the notes in front of him.

Where The Summer Wind Blows (book One)

And then there were Marianne and Elena—inside, carrying the weight of summer storms long past, and secrets that stretched across years like invisible threads. Gemma opened her notebook, pen poised above the blank page. She didn’t know what she was about to write—an observation, a story, a warning. Maybe all three. But she knew one thing: this summer wasn’t just fleeting warmth and careless laughter. It was a convergence, a delicate balance of past and present, of choices and consequences.

Summer Camp

Summer Camp

Nobody is going to come to me. Talking about me, my name is Theodore Reigns. I'm 16, about to enter Junior year in two months when the school reopens after summer break. But to be honest, right now I think it's highly unlikely cause I'm here attending this three day Art camp for next year's senior students, that too in disguise as Elena Griffin, Eastwood's best artist, and so if I get caught, I guess I won't have to go to school again.

Pertanyaan yang Sering Diajukan

I took a couple weeks last July for a program the local university's English department runs. Honestly, I was skeptical – figured it'd be a lot of theory and not much actual writing. But they made us write every single day, short bursts based on weird prompts, and then share in these tiny groups. The pressure to produce something, anything, for the next morning was surprisingly useful. It broke my habit of over-editing the first paragraph for hours.

They also brought in a few agents for Q&As, which felt premature for me, but hearing what makes a query letter fail was invaluable. The whole thing felt less like a lecture and more like a boot camp for getting words out of your head. I left with about thirty pages of messy, disconnected scenes and the nerve to finally call myself someone who 'writes.' The social aspect, just being around other people who were also nervously sharing their work, was half the benefit for a beginner.
