Beauty in Black

Beauty in Black

Such mentally sick people. Kristen was about talking when Daniel entered the training ground, and everyone immediately stopped what they were doing and greeted him. Most of the female mobsters drooled at the sight of him. Wearing a sleeveless shirt and black leather pants, he was smoking hot. His exposed biceps weren't helping matters, as they added to his sexily fit body, making the females have wild thoughts. Kristen rolled her eyes. Daniel saw it but choose to ignore her. He had better things to do than calling the brat to order.

The Slaved Virgin Offering

The Slaved Virgin Offering

For his own 100-year old piece of Earth, he broke every one of those rules. Ace's house was nothing less than a full symphony of the senses. Not just one or two color notes, not just one standout piece of art -- every room, every wall sang with color and personality. An explosively purple dining room dripping with gaudy bronze accents. A full wall of bookshelves in the living room overflowing with books, music, knick-knacks, statues, boxes and photos. Every conceivable style of furniture, as if he was a collector looking for one of everything.

The CEO's Unwanted Wife

The CEO's Unwanted Wife

The screen filled with beautiful images: soft creams and sage greens, blush pinks and deep navy accents, photos of elegant but simple centerpieces, arched floral backdrops, candle arrangements that looked like they belonged in a fairy tale. I shifted so I could sit in his lap properly. My back rested against his chest. His arms came around me, one hand resting on my stomach like it always did now. I scrolled slowly through the options. "I like this one," I said, pointing at a palette of ivory, pale gold, and dusty blue. "It feels calm. Clean. Like us." Maverick kissed the side of my neck. "I like it too. Simple. Elegant. No over-the-top drama."

Forgotten Wife: My Ex-Husband Regrets It After I Left

Forgotten Wife: My Ex-Husband Regrets It After I Left

“No. Fully dark colors would make readers assume it’s a tragedy steeped entirely in darkness. Your book isn’t only about wounds. There’s hope.” I swallowed, startled. “You read the synopsis?” “I read everything before accepting a project,” he replied firmly. I opened one of the catalogs and stopped at a page. A palette of grayish blue, with a faint touch of pale cream in one corner. Soft, yet still carrying a cool undertone. “This,” I said quietly. “This feels right.” Rudolf stepped closer. Not too close, but close enough to see clearly. “This is good. It leaves room to show the main character’s fragility without weakening her.”

Thank you for the book. I was confused by the number of days left but it’s okay. I truly hope that she doesn’t give him a second chance. He doesn’t even care in the least. She deserves to find someone who treats her like a queen. I’m not against second chances but some people don’t deserve them

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

“You know what’s funny?” “What?” “I used to think healing would feel dramatic.” She glanced around the apartment softly. “But actually…” A faint laugh escaped her. “…it feels like choosing curtain colors and arguing over bookshelf placement.” God. Adrian laughed quietly. “Which, for the record, you are losing.” “Absolutely not.” “I refuse to let you organize books by emotional vibe.” “It’s called aesthetic intelligence.” “It’s called chaos.” She shoved him lightly while laughing. And God. That sound. That lightness.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

Losing to love

Losing to love

I didn’t correct him. We looked at samples for longer than I expected. I’d thought I’d know immediately, the way I’d known the red dress, but the colors kept doing something different depending on how the light in the shop hit them. A yellow that looked warm near the window looked anxious near the back wall. A soft white that seemed safe at first glance looked cold when I held it against the pale blue samples beside it. Jamie picked things up and held them next to each other without speaking. He’d always had a precise aesthetic sense — the penthouse was proof of that, everything chosen to project a specific version of control and success. But today he wasn’t projecting anything. He was just

I Make My Own Happy Ending

I Make My Own Happy Ending

I said, following her in. The layout of their suite was similar to mine, but the way the interior was designed was markedly different. I could tell at a glance that the place was decorated according to Ms. Lee's taste, despite the fact that her son owned the place. I was starting to think that Jester bought it for his mom rather than himself. The walls were a pale yellow, the floor tiled with dark grey, and gauzy bronze curtains covered the glass walls. The sitting room had large, comfy sofas, and the books on the shelves were arranged neatly. They were familiar titles, mostly novels and some poetry, and I thought it was rather brazen of them to display actual books like this. Paper is now c

The Billionaire’s Regret Clause; One Year Together. One Love

The box opened. The book was inside. Twelve copies, arranged in two stacks of six, separated by the cardboard dividers that had been placed by the packer at the publisher's warehouse. The covers faced up. The dark cover—the color of the accumulation, Don had said when they had discussed the design with the publisher's designer in September. The designer had brought samples. Don had rejected the first three. The first had been too black, the second too brown, the third too blue. The fourth was the color of the accumulation: the dark that was not the absence of light but the presence of all the colors together, the way soil was dark because it contained everything that had fallen into it over

The CEO's Ex-Wife Gets Revenge

The CEO's Ex-Wife Gets Revenge

Eva, ever the enthusiastic friend, took the lead, dragging Flora from one display to the next. “So, what kind of look are we going for?” Eva asked, her eyes gleaming with the thrill of the hunt. “Modern, rustic, bohemian?” Flora pondered for a moment. “I think I want something minimal, but with a soft, pastel touch. Nothing too bold or overwhelming. Just cozy and inviting.” Eva nodded approvingly. “Good choice. Minimalism will keep it from feeling cluttered, and the pastels will add warmth and a touch of elegance. Let’s find you some perfect pieces.”
