and said,“It’s starting already.” I asked, “What did you do?” “Nothing much other than disrupting the boundary spell around the pack.” She laughed. No. No. No. The pack was totally exposed to attacks from outside its boundaries because the protection spell had been broken, oh gods. However, why? How could she possibly do that? I heard a huge crash as the falling ball of fire struck the witches’ apartments. The witches’ lodgings had burned to the ground. I pulled out my dagger and pointed it at Rubi’s throat, holding on to it fiercely. “You bloody traitor!” I was about to murder her, but Rubi’s crazed laughing made me change my mind. I was curious to find out what was making her laugh, so I i

Through The Storm

Through The Storm

Upon peering over their heads, I let out a gasp and immediately took Alice and Olive out of the way when I saw what it was. It was a small snake about as thick as a thumb and about a meter long. But it wasn’t just a normal one. It was a basilisk. The same species as Silisk. “Skyr, get the kids!” I yelled. Skyr immediately came to my side and got Alice and Olive. When Skyr saw the baby basilisk, he paused. “Nathalia, is that-” “Silisk!” Olive cheered. “No, Olive,” I told her without breaking my contact with the serpent in front of me. “No way could this be Silisk. He’s dead.” Silisk is supposed to be the last of his kind, so how is there one here?

Jewels of The Crown

Jewels of The Crown

Ardeshir reiterated. “I know, Ardeshir,” Shahin retorted. “Now even Basiliskus has declared war against us. He has always been angry with my great-grandfather. He would count it a great chance to reclaim Gilan and count it his own kingdom.” Clapestris is seated on a throne of peril as she is not just claimed by Shahin. There is Basiliskus with the thousands of his soldiers, rams, war elephants, catapults, and will to defeat the reigning person of Clapestris for the sake of his land. His outnumbering garrisons are making rounds of Clapestris. They are as an unsatisfied jeweler who keeps tying necklaces of trouble to the neck of the royal capital. Their movements already blocked the city from

The Alpha's Regret: Rising From The Ash

The Alpha's Regret: Rising From The Ash

"Something has woken up in the lower tunnels. Something ancient. It is eating our magic. It is eating our bones." "What is it?" Kael asked. "A Basilisk," the witch said. I stiffened. A Basilisk was a mythical creature. A giant serpent with a gaze that could turn flesh to stone. "You want us to kill a Basilisk?" I asked. "We are wolves. Not exterminators." "You are the White Wolf," the witch said. "Your light is the only thing that can blind the beast. Kill it and we will give you the Cloak of Shadows. You will be invisible to your father forever."

Taming the Ruthless Mafia Boss

"Bos—" "I'm going back to Greece," Basil said as he came in. He was sitting in the couch like statue. "Huh Boss?" Alex's forehead knotted in confused. "I'm going back to Greece after dealing with Monaco tonight. I need my money back first," he cleared to him. Alex's eyes winded in shocked. “What about Irish Boss?" Basil raised his eyebrow. "What about her?" He asked back. "Are you really serious Boss? Is there no any chan—"

Traveller Of Two Worlds

Traveller Of Two Worlds

(Frenzy Earth Basilisk) Just as soon as Mina stated her report, the First Tier 4 Monster made his appearance exiting the forest at the edge of battlefield, right in front of me. It was a 10 meter tall monster, that looked almost similar to the armoured dragon lizard back on earth, except it was more gigantic, much more densely scaled, got 4 back legs and 2 front legs. Despite it looks almost like a dragon, it is actually a basilisk, it is considerably strong physically, but the much terrifying things about a basilisk is that, it got it’s secret weapons which is his Magical gaze can turned anything into a stone. Seeing that the source of the disturbance are already making their debut before m

I Make My Own Happy Ending

I Make My Own Happy Ending

But the Prince had hid them, and raised them, and now they rip apart Anomalies and lay the bodies at his feet. But the worst of all these was the serpent. His Master had great regrets about the serpent, because it had originally been his favorite experimental subject. It was a basilisk, a creature that had a thousand lives. The Prince had witnessed its five-hundred-and-fifty-ninth death at the hands of the Master, and the Prince felt pity for it and helped it escape. The Prince then made a contract with the basilisk by granting it one wish, and from then on the creature was changed. The basilisk, which the Prince had named Jorus, became an existence like a curse. It gave up its remaining fou

Curse of the Wolves

Curse of the Wolves

The basilisk emerged, hot on my trail, just as I reached the top. Easily tall enough to reach me atop the wall, it lunged. A tingle of awareness coasted up my spine. My instincts screamed, and I spun, lashing out with the sword. I met the basilisk’s ruby eyes, but it was too late. My sword cleaved through the left one. Milky white blood reeking of rotting flesh splattered across my face. I gagged as the basilisk reared back, hissing in outrage. Draco’s voice, or maybe it was Orion’s, reached my ears seconds too late. “BLAKELY, WATCH OUT—”

I love this story so much that I kept reading, not realizing it was already four in the morning, and I had to wake up to take my kids to school at 7. every story by this author is beautifully written and addictive, but I love the humor and the strong female character in this story the most.

The Unwanted Luna

The Unwanted Luna

I look at her in question so she explains further. “You see, as we speak, Basilisk, the snake, is still latched to your neck. He is sifting through your spirit and soul. His venom is pouring into you, and not just into your physical body. If he finds any darkness inside you, that is dark desires or a character like greed or dark emotions like hatred, then the venom will kill you. If not, then you will receive the power of the elixir.” She finishes. “No one has ever been able to get the elixir and the few who made it to the last stage died because almost all of them were filled with greed, the need for vengeance, anger, hatred, selfishness and bitterness” fate number two says.

That feeling of not wanting it to end. Finally, I love the writing style, how descriptive the author is with her words, and how well she explains the werewolf terms. This is especially good for readers trying to understand the werewolf world. Not forgetting the emotions,I love it. Love you, Author!

I just started reading this book as I love the authors other book I was reading. However….Am I missing something? It just seems like between chapter 3 and chapter 4 maybe a chapter or two are missing. There is a huge jump in the story.
