Under the Shadow of the Moon
So calm.
I keep staring at him in confusion, and take my time in observing him. The man stands tall, towering over me, his entire figure cloaked in black. A black mask covers his face, as I’ve noticed before, leaving only his cold, piercing eyes visible. But there’s something wrong with his eyes, particularly with the areas around them. His eyelids look…scarred. Or deformed. And his eyes are a very pale shade of blue.
His gloved hands rest at his sides, motionless, but the air around him feels tense, almost thick with danger. But he isn’t threatening me in any way, and I don’t see a weapon in sight.
