Aiden crossed his hands, looking at her like he was telling 'Are you serious too? Arching his eyebrow, he took one apple and started to peel it. She noticed how thick his eyebrows were, it was her weakness. Her heart thumped when she saw his long eyelashes under his eyeglass moved when he was blinking. Biting her lips, she looked away to avoid herself from fantasizing about the doctor.

[Amor’s POV] “Seventy-five and one hundred and fifteen.” I laid on the mattress on my back. I smiled. Her nervously flickering eyes. Her controlled breaths and her… scent. I gulped, clearing my throat. Her face was crystal clear in my mind, as if she was sitting right next to me. Drawing her eyes with my finger in the air, I reminded myself once again of how perfect they were. “Seventy-five eyelashes on her lower eyelids and one hundred and fifteen on her upper eyelids. Not one less or more in her eyes. Just perfect.”

Deep, bright emerald green—Collin’s mother’s eyes, Jessica’s eyes, Baylee’s eyes when she was angry and full-wolf. But there was something else. Something alive in them. At the center of each iris, right around the pupil, a tiny flare of color burned bright and impossible. Not a reflection. Not a trick of the light. A mark. A sharp, perfect burst of bright, electric blue in the shape of a tiny star. Baylee’s heart slammed so hard she swayed. “Oh,” she breathed. Collin frowned. “Bay?” Her voice wouldn’t come. For a second she couldn’t speak. Her throat closed. Her eyes burned.

As she stared she could see a small cyclone beginning to take shape within the water as the surface turned from glassy to hazy and then red as blurry images began to form. Looking closer Elaina willed the images to get clearer so she could see exactly what was going on within. "It is too blurry..." Elaina muttered more to herself than Ezra. "Keep watching." Ezra insisted. Obeying Elaina waited until finally Chase began to become clear. Blood and ash streaked his face as he fought a mindless ekek that didn't seem to be phased at all by his attacks. He looked exhausted and devoid of any emotion aside from anger.

The point is the fact that this man was now her employer and Anelia wasn't exactly comfortable with him getting so close to her. It registered to Anelia a little later that she was practically touching his very bare chest with her bare hands. Why was he naked again? And his eyes were right...there. She could see those long things. What were they called again? Oh, yeah that's it. Eyelashes, that's what. And they were freakishly long.

Chapter 45 Author. “3, 2, 1 and now open your eyes” The beautician spoke enthusiastically near her ear. Slowly Ana lifted her lashes up and stared at the mirror. The first thing she noticed was her hair. It was neatly tied in a beautiful bun. She looked further and thankfully she didn’t over do anything. She did a light make up with mascara and painted her lips with lip gloss of light shade in red. She looked beautiful.

He might have zoned out, or he was sleeping with his eyes opened. I turned his face to look at me, and he did turn, still staring blankly. "Could you bat your lashes so I can know you're still alive?" I asked, and just then, he blinked. "You could have just said it, instead of making me feel jealous," I said, grinning at his emotionless eyes which stared at me. I was used to it.

I said, not breaking eye contact with his blank gaze. His beautiful eyes were distracting. They were ocean blue, but no matter how beautiful they were, there was no emotion in them. When you stared into his eyes, it was like looking into a dark room. Even his facial expression was just blank, making it really hard to read if he was angry or happy. You'd probably have to rely on the aura surrounding him or the way he looked at you. If you're good at reading someone's expressionless face, you're good.

Ebsy's eyes were fixed on Alyssa the whole time. He had refused to blink or leave her side afraid that he was going to miss something. Alyssa's left hand shifted and her eyes twitched, causing Ebsy to sit up straight and watch closely. His first instinct was to call the doctor but he didn't. Alyssa stirred in her sleep and a groan escaped her lips. Her eyelids slowly fluttered open. Her vision was blurry before her eyes adjusted to her surroundings and she saw a pair of eyes googling at her.

My lashes flutter, vision unfocused, but I tilt my head up just slightly. Blue eyes. Frantic. Angry.. Grayson. My lips part to say something, anything—but the world tips sideways. Then fades to black.
