I caressed her cheek gently, feeling useless being here, just waiting for her to wake up, not having the slightest knowledge of what was happening.
When she began to move, Gabriel, Cody, Miguel, and Ainsley were back in the room. We all held our breath as soon as she opened her beautiful eyes, but I can assure you that nothing was as surprising as noticing that they were blank.
Not a trace of her iris or her pupil would be seen.
