"A baseball bat can absolutely be added to the list of finesse to deal with the Falcones." ​Lucien stared down at me. Then, a low, deep chuckle started in his chest, quickly building into a rich, booming laugh that echoed across the water. He holstered his gun, shaking his head in absolute disbelief.

She muttered and mumbled words of love that she could not profess, could not confess. Ursula spits blood from her mouth, then looks at Calleb’s direction with a smile. “Well, look at that. Who knew that Bathal had poison on those claws. Judging by the way the boy looks, he is only a few minutes from dying.” Ursula says. “Now, why don’t you two let me go, because in his death, I win.”

That came through clearly even through the muffled door. They were using words like reckless and dangerous and what were you thinking. One of them said the word curse twice.

He spun around— facing submissive Grinch with murder intent. “Cane Bastardo – {bastard dog}” He menaced closer, pointing a shaking finger. “You had one fucking job Bastard—Watch Knuckles' back. Always. And what did you do?” Lucas’ voice dropped low and dangerous. “The exact fucking opposite!” “Con todo respeto, señor… disculpe. {With all due respect, Sir… sorry.}”, Grinch mumbled after a moment of static. “But he forbade me from going with him. Don!—he swore me off.” Grinch completed, his eyes low.
