“Well, my dear Goddess of love. Take care.” “It’s not the Godde-” I look up, seeing that he is already gone. I breathe out, finishing my sentence in a whisper. “Not the Goddess of love.” Who is he? Batman? “Thank you, Mike!” I shout into the tunnel, my voice echoing from the walls. But more than the burble of the water, nothing else reaches my ears in response. I climb out of the dirty passage with a deep sigh and after putting my newly bought gadget into the inside of my coat.

Except her. I place my hand over my face, trying to stifle the laugh that’s pouring out of my mouth but that doesn’t work. It explodes out of me before I can control myself, spilling out of my mouth. When I start to calm down, I see one of them start charging towards the door. Before Damian can shoot him, I use my bat to hit him hard across the back of his head.

I lowered my spike. “Now!” screamed the mouse. The female behind him threw out some kind of dust that filled the air. My eyes stung, making it hard to see. I heard the others call out in pain. Then, almost too late, I saw the spear coming right at me. I lurched sideways, so it went between my body and arm and grabbed hold of the shaft. A push-pull struggle ensued. Batman, of course, was unaffected. Not because of the outfit, but because he wore glasses. Maurice jumped in and shoved the female. Through blurry vision I saw her suddenly disappear. Not by magic, she had fallen down the hole.

I was excited, “you know Batman?” She shook her head. “No, I don’t know where that came from.” This time she took her top lip in her teeth and rubbed her head. “Did I hear that from somewhere? TV maybe?” “Well, you probably did, Batman is one of the more popular comic book characters, he has had more movies than any other superhero.” “Ahh, okay.” “And you are going to watch all of them.” I smirked. Samantha rolled her eyes playfully. “Yay.” She said sarcastically as she smirked. “Want me to order lunch? What do you want?”

He will never be able to replace him. Van runs up in a Batman costume and I smile at him. “Wow. Cool costume.” “Yeah, it's awesome! I even have batarangs!” He pulls out a bat shaped piece of black plastic from his waistband and tosses it at the wall. “Woah, kid. What did I tell you about throwing them in the house? You're going to put out someone's eye.” Wyatt tells him. “Sorry.” Van picks up the plastic and runs away. “Where's Ricky and Lucy?” I ask Val.

He clenched his jaw and glared at the guard who tased him. “You bloody bastards just ruined a reunion between my lady and me.” He rolled over and leaped up to his feet as graceful as a circus performer, towering over the guards once more. He picked up the bat he’d dropped and smacked it into his open palm. “I’m gonna teach you bogs a lesson you’ll never forget.” He hit his palm again. “So that every time you see a bat, you’d piss yourself. Would you like that, you—“ His large body spasmed again as a female guard tased him, causing him to drop his bat. He seemed to crumple into himself before going down hard on the ground. He didn’t move.

The bike stops right in front of us, so close I feel the heat from it. I can't map out the rider, but they feel scary. “Hey, what the fuck, man!” the brunette snaps, irritation edging into his voice. The biker swings a leg off, never turning the lights off. They lift something long and solid. Is that a bat? They roll it once in their hand, casual. Almost bored. “Who’s first?”

As he grabbed up his washcloth and spread the towel a bit on the floor, he whipped open the shower curtain. When his phone buzzed again, he let it be. 'Sorry Dill, you're gonna have to wait,' He thought, as his teeth chattered. 'Too fuckin' cold.' The bathroom was warm and steamed up from the hot shower as he ripped the shower curtain open again, wrung his washcloth out, then layed it over the edge of the tub. Bale bent over, a cold edge in his eyes, and suddenly charged toward Diana. He swung a powerful punch straight at Diana's head. The force behind it was immense. Diana's slender figure shifted, her body leaning sideways as she swiftly evaded the strike. The fist grazed her cheek, accompanied by a gust of wind and a fierce killing intent. After the attack, Bale didn't press on. Instead, he walked over to the stubbled man's side and lightly kicked him. "Quit your whining. Getting beaten up by a woman and looking this pathetic, you're truly a sorry bunch!"

Immediately after, she jumps up and hits Unstoppable in his head with her shield. Moaning as Justice flips over him, he places his giant hand on his head. "I got this," JumpStart says, running to Unstoppable as he stumbles around. Spinning his stun batons in his hands, he leaps into the air and slams them down onto Unstoppable. Roaring so loud, the whole prison shakes, Unstoppable claps his hands together and squeezes JumpStart. The attack knocks JumpStart out and he drops his batons. About to fall to the floor, Unstoppable instead catches him. Pulling his arm back, he then throws JumpStart like he is a sack of potatoes.
