Another voice countered that it didn’t look like any pack tactic they knew. I listened the way stone listens to rain, absorbing without reacting, letting it pass. Finally, Bane cleared his throat, and the room quieted by degrees. He didn’t stand at the head of the table. He didn’t need to. He spoke like this wasn’t important enough to warrant a ceremony.

“As you may know I will be leaving the joint today.” The men whistled and cheered. He raised his hand and they stopped. “These few years with you cats have been great. I hope to see many of yous when you get out. For I have a place for each and every one of you. What we have formed here is a brotherhood, and that’s what makes us united. Gentlemen, together we will change Gotham. We will make our mark and we will make those filthy pigs pay! Now is our moment. For it’s time for us to take back what is rightfully ours!”

I said with an air of arrogance “Pssh! You can never be Batman. You are too lame to be that guy” he said laughing and I join “You said something about closing Hell gateway, yeah?” “What about it?” “Can you open one?” I gave him the crazy look “I know what you are going to say but I don’t intend to go back. I just thought—” “I haven’t tried to open one before but I’m sure I can do it if I want to. You won’t find her in Hell though” I said with all manner of seriousness

"Oh, we are taking the both of you." "Hey, bitches!" Axe shouted angrily, stepping forward as the thugs turned to look at him. "Leave them, or else I'm gonna fucking beat the crap outta ya!" "Oh look, it's Batman!" The leader of the thugs said as he started clapping his hand sarcastically. "Is the mighty Batboy here to save the day?"

He shrugged most innocently. “Uhm….I am not so sure if I still recall how it is done because it has been long since I held my hand on the sword….” “Once a fighter, always a fighter. The flesh might get old and the bones tired they say, but the spirit never dies, even after your death” He cut me off and spoke and honestly that was the most motivating speech I have ever received from someone in a while. “Fine, let’s try this. But I have to warn you, you are giving me way more credit than I deserve so anything you see less than you expected, you called it upon yourself. You will deal with the disappointment” I warned.

“If we keep going, I’m gonna bite your dick off.” My voice is no longer strong. It sounds hoarse. He chuckles, “Bite it? What are you? Dog? I’m speeches.” He thrust once more before finally removing his dick.

Just him. “After giving such a wonderful speech, showing such fearless bravery, I thought you would love to be auctioned off first.” He deadpans. My heart literally drops to the bottom of my shoes and I turn to him with a wide eyed stare. “Wh-what are you talking about?” My voice breaks and I mentally curse myself.

He cleared his throat and began to speak, I noticed his eyes falling on me but I looked away quickly. “Well, I am honored to be the one to give this speech tonight. As we all know, for the past two years, I’ve been honored with businessman of the year and honestly, I cant say much for that, not too many grand and huge words to how I achieved that” he paused, looking around the room. “He’s trying to be dramatic but I agree anyway, I don’t think he’s done much to deserve what he has truly” Dante whispered next to me.
