He fell to the floor clutching his bloodied chest, and father started walking towards us. Including Dame's father who was already drawing his sword.

Lanton is bellowing at Haris, who is uncomprehending. He throws a punch at him and immediately Haris falls to the ground. Lanton now stands on top of the boy and starts throwing more punches at his face, Haris tries to fight back but can't because he is almost paralysed. "Lanton, stop it! Stop it!" I shout at him. "Lanton!" It's Dimas who does something, he pulls Lanton and pushes him away, going to check the state of Haris, who is groaning on the floor. I run towards him and realize that his face is bloodied.

The battlefield in the inner compound of the VORTEX facility was still raging, and dozens of bodies lay across the compound, with some mangled so brutally that even the ground was covered with their various parts. The outer walls of the main building even bore the mark of the battle….gashes, bullet dents, and smears of blood. My body was still store and it was cold, I felt like I was freezing, my legs were freezing but head was burning at the same time, I felt this excruciating pain in my mouth, I was in so much pain it was killing me, I knew this was inevitable, I knew this was supposed to happen sooner or later and that was the reason I came prepared today in this Battle.
