Beast In Me Novels & Stories

I woke up from the sound of my stomach growling, without a word; I stood up from lying on my bed; my face was a little hurt from the incident earlier when I saw my reflection, a big purple bruise. I sighed and held my cheek, and started to heal myself. My mom and dad were fascinated with my gift for healing, but it wasn't extravagant; like the doctors from our tribe, I could heal simple wounds or, like mine—Bruises.

Zadkiel chuckled and murmured “no offence” “Irvin said I’m half-human. He didn’t tell what my other half is called though.” Zadkiel laughed. “So, you were born like this or something happened to you that made you like this. Like they show in movies? Some gamma radiations or lost in quantum realm?” Abel curiously asked scooting closer to Zadkiel. “I was born like this.” Zadkiel stated “I’ve been taking aconite to control myself. It burns like a bitch but it keeps my wild side controlled. Father told me about it.” Zadkiel told him.

My father always said that the wilderness lives in me, bringing storms and raging winds through my skin for the world to feel. So I become the wilderness itself. I gather all my strength, all the storms inside me, all the blizzards and wind. The feel of power rise in me, energy filling my body once again. I jump to my feet, ignoring the crushing pain in my left thigh and brace myself for what I am about to do. I will most likely get instantly killed by this fucker, but it's better than all of this shit. And well, I do a lot of stupid shit when I'm angry. So, going against all my instincts, I bare my teeth, push myself forward and jump on blue eyed monster to rip his throat out.

“Young Mistress.” I looked at both my tamed beasts, but noticed the voice in my head wasn't coming from them. I softly inquired who it was; the voice calmly explained; it was none other than the Mystical Beast of Illusions, whom I'll henceforth name MBI for short. MBI slowly explained to me: “You're in an illusionary world. It's hard to tell if this world once existed, but one thing's for sure... that crimson-eyed tiger was a mystical beast. While inside your arerat symbol, I came to understand that you're gifted with the ability of absorbing mystical beasts.

She read all the contents of the book in a few minutes. "Beastman. That's what you call the people who had an ancient spirit beast's blood. Theodore was wiping his wet hair using a towel as he walked towards Soheila and sat beside

Melvin reported after taking a closer look at the corpses. “Melvin, you need to give me reliable information. Did a human or an animal cause their death? We ought to present strong proof regarding this case. Something this strange occurred in our city, we deserve answers. Furthermore, we must identify what sort of deranged person or beast we are involved with.” Alvin said to his partner with fear in his eyes. All the monster talk seemed terrible, and he wanted to get out of the woods this instant.

On New Year's Eve, I was kidnapped. My captors claimed they followed an ancient tradition. They planned to livestream a "Beast Hunt" to bring good fortune to the entire nation. The relentless blasts of fireworks swallowed me whole. I did not know how long it lasted before I dragged my nearly destroyed body out and escaped. When I found my parents, they broke down crying and rushed me to the best private hospital in the city. They swore to file charges and make the people responsible pay with their lives. My girlfriend of ten years, a lawyer, turned her face away. "The client and I are in a personal relationship. I am required to recuse myself, so I will not take this case." While I lay

I felt my "Too Much" energy being compressed into "Prey-Variables." My rage was being turned into "Adrenaline for the Chase"; my grief was being turned into "The Salt of the Blood".
