The Beast Novel By Samreen Shah Novels & Stories

"Scared?" Am I? I drag my head in a sluggish shake. "Be honest, Ella. This beast is no joke when it comes to this. And I don't want regrets. So tell me honestly. Are you ready for this?" I swallow hard, gawking at him, while he awaits for my response. It's too hot in here, suddenly. I'm burning. And I love this beast, as he calls himself. So...

He had not fought me, he had not raged inside my mind. My wolf had actually slept after being with her. That alone was enough to tell me that something about her was different. I had felt insatiable, as though one night with her could never be enough. I couldn't help wondering how she had managed to withstand me for so long, especially when she didn't even have a wolf. That made no sense, everything about her seemed contradictory. She was human, yet my wolf reacted to her in a way he had never reacted to anyone else.

Of course Christopher Henry Jameson—also known as Beast- wasn't the average man. He stood 6'5" and weighed three hundred and two pounds. He didn't like the extra three pounds. He rather liked being in the two hundred weight range even if it was by just one or two pounds. Regardless, there wasn't an ounce of fat on his perfect body. Beast was muscles on top of muscles, yet not hulking like some of the others that worked in the Marine Corps division assigned to The Department of Home Land Security, or better known as DHS. Too big made you slow. He'd seen guys bigger than him hospitalized during the CRUCIBLE training.

Clar ignored the lingering gaze of the stranger behind her. Leaving the front door wide open, she collapsed right next to Ben, desperately trying to melt the deathly chill of his paws with her own warm hands. “Ben... please open your eyes. Look at me, okay?” Great Beast God, isn't Ben a fated male lead? Isn't he supposed to turn every disaster into a blessing? How could a simple trip outside leave him like this? From the brutal marks covering Ben’s body, it was clear he hadn’t stood a single chance to fight back. Not a single patch of flesh remained unmarred, and even his beast-skin skirt was thoroughly drenched in dark blood.

Her nights would be filled with haunting nightmares, reminding her of the past. “Don't open your eyes, Jaan, until I tell you," Beast whispered in Beauty's ears and Beauty nodded. He hugged his Jaan tightly and looked up at the bastard who was at his mercy. “I'm fine, Ji! I'm strong enough to face Vikranth. I want to kill him with my bare hands but on the other hand, I don't want him to die easily. He tried to kill you, ji. He also shot bullets at Shaurya. Thanks to Brother Neil who came on time", Beauty said, but her sobbed hiccups broke the beast's heart.

Beasty emerges in Isabella's presence for the first time ever, unlike the one she had witness in her dream, Beasty was very ugly and unbelievably huge. His fangs long and Sharp while his mouth was too wide for his face. Isabella could only gasped and cringe in great shock at the Beast she had been living with for the past few months. Sidney's Beast was not at all different from Hayden's but unlike Beasty which is black , his was white. The eyes glaring and challengingly that Isabella heart continue beating non stop.

Beau, my second in command, pulled his human side forward and I did the same. It was a girl, barely a woman, her face ashen blue, near death, and the light was fading. I began pumping her sternum, willing frantically that the water would come up to keep the light alive, give it breath to rekindle the dying spark. All three young ones whined and pawed at the earth. I wondered if they could feel the goodness, the purity The Beast’s gift conveyed clearly to me. The loss of this beam of hope? Would surely tear him apart. Beau tilted her head back as I paused and he blew a breath of air into her water-logged lungs. I felt a power rise out of her, the silhouette of her soul rising from her body,

I paused when my fingers landed on the book I had been previously reading, the one the King had told me specifically to stay away from. Without much thought, I grabbed the book and turned to the chapter I had last stopped on, it was called soulmates to the beast. I read for what felt like hours about what the villagers thought about the beast and I found myself growing more and more afraid, the more and more I read. He had wiped out villages all around the castle in a rampage of anger, he killed thousands of people and left their bodies in the street and only stopped once the sun began to rise again and the sky became painted as red as the blood on his body.

Yet she felt no triumph in this, only a terrible and irrevocable doubt. The Beast pressed itself up as close to the edge of the salt circle as it could get. It fixed Sally with its deep black eyes, as if to remonstrate with her. Sally could not look away. The eyes seemed to grow larger and larger until they filled her field of vision. The Beast seemed to reach out and build a bridge between their minds, and across this bridge it sent an unconscionable truth.

But she hasn’t really given it a proper thought. “What if I would to meet a monstrous bloodthirsty beast?” she thought to herself. “Actually, I don’t know,” she said as she chuckles. “To tell you the truth, I had wished for it. Meeting a monstrous beast would be an exciting encounter for me. Imagine, a mythological beast actually existing in our world? Wow! That would be amazing.” Austin exhales and looks at Grey, “but if what was written in that book..” she stops and points at the book on the top of the shelf, “is really true, shouldn’t I be scared of meeting one?” she said in a serious tone.
