Carissa steeled her voice; she was unwavering, and they began to sense that she was much wiser than her short years would suggest. “Very well. We will take our leave now.” The council rose to their feet and headed for the door. The head council member paused before exiting during the negotiations. He turned to CC, his brows scrunched in obvious upset. “Be careful how far you push in the future, Miss Carter. You may not like the pushback.” Beast rattled the room with a heavy roar. He did not take kindly to his mate being threatened by a paper-pushing bureaucrat. “I suggest you be careful with who you push, Councilmen.” She offered Beast a small smile as she laid her hand on his arm to calm hi

His claws trembled at my throat, caught between killing and clinging. And then, with a sound like glass shattering, Zara’s last thread anchored into his spine. Her body went limp, crumpling into the mud, but it was enough. Maxim reeled back, the Beast howling in defiance. His roar wasn’t human. It wasn’t Hollow. It was something in between, split down the center, fractured but still holding. But when his gaze caught mine again, I knew which side still lived. The Beast didn’t know my name—but Maxim did.

He answered. His words made total sense. As simple as he looked, he was wise and very accurate with his intuitions. "So what's your decision father. We both know that when you cross the damn river there is no point of return." I reminded him. "Damon, That Beast is searching for a breeder. A bond and mate. If luckily Hera proves herself worthy and its instinct is drawn fully to her, it won't harm her. I don't want to think the worst that's why I still have a ray of hope that she is still alive and being kept well." He answered.

The elders nodded but the fear remained in their eyes as they watched their King slowly slip away and the unholy monster begin to take his place. Jessebelle raised her well trimmed eyebrow and asked, "Who is her?" her face turned down in a frown. The king sighed, having no patience for the vexing woman beside him. And all of a sudden, like a wave it hit him... The sensation of his mates blood being drawn. Any control he had of his beast was gone as in the next few seconds he had trasformed completely with low growl. The elders all stood up and stepped back as the beast ran through the room and out of the meeting hall. Jessebelle stood up her eyes wide with fear and confusion before her knees

Zachariah frowned. "Y-your names. They are old, too old. They aren't used nowadays." She said murmured. A Kings lips formed in a smile making her eyes wide open. Their smile is beautiful. Rose felt some tingly things in her stomach seeing them smile. "W-what are you both? I mean what supernatural species do you belong to?" Rose questioned them ignoring the tingling sensation in her Stomach. "Beast" They said together. Rose's eyes widen hearing it. They both are beast!

But Reeve could take down all of them by trying to climb to the top with ease. Jaguars, which are classified as Felidae and are also arboreal creatures, are, of course, very good at moving in trees. What's more, Reeve's form as a Beast Man benefits him from moving between the tree branches, not to mention his natural ability as a *Diamond-ranked Beast of the Jaguar Clan.

And maybe, we were afraid of contemplating our real feelings - a weird attachment to a human girl. Till this point, both Ares and I had finally figured it out. She had said to me that she would actually be 18 the day after the auction. That meant, she hadn’t actually been mature the last time I saw her. Now, she was. It’s too late when I noticed Ares was going berserk beyond my control. ‘*Mate*.’ He growled, his front claw projecting forward in threatening. She looked frightened, clenching her body shivering tightly against Lucas, which could only worsen the situation.

“I don't see the problem here.” Alex grimaced. “Ugh! They cough up hairballs all over the place. Not to mention they bring dead mice and fleas into the house. Cats aren't loyal. If you hit hard times, a cat will ditch you for the next dumb schmuck that'll feed it, whereas a dog will remain at your side. It's a hell no from me,” he argued, scrunching his face with revulsion. Grayson exhaled with relief, which Lucas picked up on.

Just above the gamma beasts are the beta beasts who have Amber or golden coloured eyes and then at the top is the alpha beast who has crimson red eyes. It’s rare but a few beasts born from the original bloodline, can transform into a modified form of a beast but much more stronger and faster, they are called lycans and are identified by their pitch bl
