Beastars Cat Novels & Stories

And then I realized she didn’t fully re-madk her scent when she went outside. You can protect her better if you accept it, the beast said more quietly now. If you stop fighting what we are. “And what if accepting it is what kills us?” I asked. The beast didn’t snarl. Didn’t push. Then we die knowing we chose her. The door creaked as she started to step back into the cabin. I straightened instantly, forcing my expression neutral, my thoughts locked back behind discipline and control. I would not let her see this war.

I texted, "Well. I… vented the way you think." We fell silent. Venting beastkin were part of an illegal industry, usually involving kidnapping young beastkin or buying low-grade beastkin at low prices. They were then put through a brutal selection process to single out the beastkin with strong bodies and rapid healing abilities to be selected as venting beastkin. Those who passed end up as human punching bags. Venting beastkin were used for torture, beatings, and stress relief. Some were forced into underground arenas for gladiator-style duels. These beastkin, though pitiful, were widely regarded as wild and untamable.

I threaten her, glaring. Bianca laughs. “Aw. The little cat learned how to hiss. Cute.” She raises a brow. “You picked between two monsters, Camilla. And you picked the worse one. But he’s got abs and sexy scars, and half the world at his feet, so maybe you chose right.” “I feel… stuck,” I admit before I can stop myself. “What the hell am I supposed to do?” She shrugs, glancing over her shoulder. “What do you think you can really do here? Oh—by the way. Heard Vance paid for his little stunt. The Don shot him in the leg. Almost turned into a full shootout until Vance called his men off.”

That was when I realized those eyes weren’t Knight’s, so it was his beast all along. “I can accept anyone calling me that,” he continued. “But my mate… my future Luna… will call me by my name. Only my name.” He leaned toward my neck, lips brushing the skin lightly, making my breath shatter. “Or,” he whispered, “you can give me a daring name to claim me with.” “There is no difference between a beast and a monster,” I muttered. His grip tightened dangerously. “Do not provoke me.” Taking in a deep breath and at the same time desperate to break the moment, I blurted, “But a beast needs a real name. Like Knight has his. What’s yours?”

Informing her leisurely, Beast smirked and turned around to start walking. Just as he expected, he heard her running footsteps behind him. “ Scaredy cat. ” He mumbled under his breath just as Ana grabbed his arm pushing herself closer to him in fear of getting attacked by an animal. “ I hate you! ” Ana panted out and glanced around her suspisciously. Beast snickered and grabbed her hand from his arm, interwining his fingers with hers. “ The feelings have always been mutual. ” He whispered with a smirk adorning his lips and Ana pouted, trying to match his steps.

Before l can think of something to do my eyes almost popped up from their sockets when Venus's shifted into a beast too. I was so shocked that l didnt notice the beast black in color almost teared my fresh. If it's not a big brown beast that bounced on it, l would have been dead by now.. The brown beast teared the black one and it gave out aloud howling. It kept on struggling against the brown who was in control. I took a glance at my sorroundings still shivering. And realization hit me hard that there is no single human left apart from me. Where is Alex, Ron and other students? Did they also turn into beasts like Venus.

After that, I'm not sure what to do. "The Beast Oracle is only a legend...Not a real being...right," she whispers, and I growl as the disrespectful term leaves her beautiful lips. Hurt and betrayal whip through my mind. My mate is just like all of them. We fight and die so they can live in peace and safety, but we are called beasts.

Cory asked. As the words left her mouth, Cory realised that the thought of plotting to kill Anestra, the Mother Beast, now made her slightly uncomfortable. The image of a ruthless, anthropomorphic, fearsome beast was gone, replaced by a girl of her age, frozen in time, made but not born wicked. A disgruntled grumble to her right made her glance over at Hayden. He was clearly annoyed at her persistence concerning the matter of the beasts. Cory ignored him and pressed Dondus for further information.

I slam the door behind me, leaving Terris inside. Ambling downstairs, I find the beast lounging on the settee with his eyes closed, too calm for my liking, like a lion ready to strike. He always keeps a gun with him, and right now, he is stroking his face from the nose up to his forehead with it repeatedly. His disposed gigantic trunk is heaving up and down from his massive breathing. He doesn't look approachable. I don't think I should talk to him right now. I should probably wait for him to calm down a little, if that is even deemed to happen.

I did everything to be a good friend, only to be treated as my so-called best friend’s scapegoat. When her husband found cigarette ash in their house, she claimed I was the one smoking. When she snuck off for a private rendezvous with her lover, she told him she was celebrating my birthday. And when she got pregnant, she pinned the blame on me again, declaring I was consumed with jealousy—that I had spiked her drink and hired someone to violate her. Enraged, her husband marched to my doorstep wielding a blade and hacked me to death. When I opened my eyes again, I had returned to the exact day she had asked me to cover for her affair.
