With a scary look on his face, that man was gazing at Beast. Beast ordered a table and put his hand on it. In a nick of time, the colour of the light bulb turned red and Beast turned into a butcher, who was separating every single finger from his hand. The man was screaming in pain. But Beast was standing in a relaxed posture doing his work. Similarly, he also separated the fingers from his other hand. Now it was the turn of his feet.

She sits up straight in her chair, leaning in. I nod. “Well, imagine something like one of those beasts—the long snout, pointy fangs, enormous tongue that doesn’t quite fit, uncontrollable slobbering, mangy fur, and these evil-looking unholy eyes. Imagine being caught somewhere between that wolf-like creature and a human. Mangled, twisted bones set at strange angles with patches of skin and tufts of fur.” I shake my head, my stomach turning just thinking about it. No, I can’t allow her to see me. Bexley isn’t leaning away from me. She doesn’t get up and dart out the door. Instead, she reaches a hand across the table. My paw lies within her reach. I want to pull it away, but I don’t.

Almera asked her eyes sparkling. “I am planning to charge…” Mira scratched her head and pouted “I was going to ask you how much you pay for a rabbit.” “Ha…ha…ha...” Almera laughed as pinched Mira’s cheek and rang the bell for her footman. “Tyle, how much can I buy a rabbit for?” “A plump rabbit would be 3 gold coins without fur and 4 gold coins with fur. A normal one would be 2 gold coins without fur and 3 gold coins with fur.” Tyle paused “Madam that is if you are lucky to get one.”

My eyes managed to peel open, still watery and blurry, and I searched around for Raphael. “Raphael!” I gasped as he stalked towards a monster that I was sure wasn’t with us before. It was black from head to toe, except for its yellow, serpentine eyes, and was almost twice the size of Raphael. It stood like a grizzly that had too much muscle, but instead of being covered with fur, it had scales, spikes, and a long, rattling tail. It looked like an unholy hybrid between a snake and bear on steroids. What was that monstrosity? Where did it come from? And where was the rabbit? If that thing screeched again, we were doomed.

[POV: Colin Smith] Colin sprinted forward weaving around the trees, instinctively avoiding the undergrowth and bumps. After four long years, he was used to running around in the forest. The blasted animal was faster than he had thought. He had been following a thunder-rabbit for a few minutes now. They were a magical beast that looked similar to rabbits, only as big as a dog and their furs stood on ends with shades of purple. It was one of the few D tier beasts that also had a blood sack. Not only were their meat a delicacy, but a blood sack from a D tier beast could also be sold for three silver coins. Which was a lot of money for someone like Colin.

Peggy swallowed hard, a chill running down her spine that had nothing to do with the cold… Heather suddenly stopped hard, nearly sending them all over her head. “Heather, what the hell?!” Archer shouted. "Did you know there would be monsters? You didn't tell me there would be." "Monsters?" The tom put the case on the large table next to the no-fur and opened it carefully. He started checking the contents as he spoke. "Ah, you mean the Hares, don't you? I forgot that you have never seen them before. I'm sorry I didn't warn you, but they are not monsters. They are like toms, but gentler. Their homeland is much more kind than that of the toms."

Once the image of the wolf formed completely, Alpha Zane's eyes suddenly closed, and he fell to the floor. Kane came forward, but the priestess raised her hand to stop him. The ritual wasn't complete yet. She closed her eyes and continued with her chants, the fire growing bigger and bigger. Suddenly, the wolf turned away from Zane's unconscious body, and it bounded off at top speed. The priestess finally let her hands down, and the fire died slowly too. She opened her eyes, now blank and without the colored part. Kane watched, his eyes thin. The priestess closed her eyes again, and took in a deep breath. When she opened her eyes again, she was back to normal.

Iris. Lightning. Blinding lightning cracks across the sky, and that’s when I see it. A monstrosity. A towering werewolf, drenched in rain, muscles taut and rippling with barely restrained rage. Each limb looks sculpted for violence. Its fur is slick, dark, and matted from blood and storm. Its breath steams in the cold air. Plumes spiral around its snout. Its eyes, blazing gold. My heart stops. God… I just fell into another creature’s war. All of them, beasts of the moon. Beasts of the night. Oh no!

The teeth were far too long, deadly and sharp. Harris' eyes widened as he stared blankly at the creature, “What the hell is that?” I swallowed, my mind racing as I got up on my feet. “A Ratjaw.” I whispered under my breath, “And this should not be possible,” I stared at the monster rabbit for one more second before I started to reach for my telekinesis powers, “Shit.”
