The Wrong Brother’s Obsession

The Wrong Brother’s Obsession

I’m not sure which part of her statement caused it but there’s suddenly a twist in my abdomen. I shouldn’t hate Everista this much but I also can’t help it. “Of course. And thanks for the tour.” “My pleasure.” Beatrice headed back to her office and I just let out a soft exhale. I’ve not even had the time to learn about Everista but I guess with how easygoing Beatrice is, it shouldn’t be any difficult. Somehow, I raised my phone until I was searching about her. Everista Macdon is a former model? So why on earth is she working here in that case? And more importantly, why does she keep acting like she’s been here for ages?

Ex and Son Beg, But I Never Turn Back

Ex and Son Beg, But I Never Turn Back

“Like they say, there’s a consumer for everyone, even for lesser known, lower quality perfumes.” The veil of Beatrice’s insults were thin and Emily furrowed her brow. “I’ve never heard that saying,” Emily replied, clearly confused by Beatrice’s manipulative insults. “I’m sorry, who are you?” Beatrice scoffed and laughed, waving her hand in the air. “I’m Beatrice, CEO of the Anderson Perfume Company. Pleasure.” She held out her hand but shook Emily’s limply, as though she were doing Emily a favor by shaking hands with her.

Beverly Carington "You what?!" Becca asked me in disbelief. "I will move to LA for 1 year." "I can't believe he's that evil." "I cursed him and now God cursed me. It's crazy that he found me all the time." "Don't you think it's time for you to.. you know.. take a rest from this sinful job and have a little life a little?" "What life? I'm dealing with a psychopath." I rolled my eyes.

Fragile Ties Of Love

Fragile Ties Of Love

And her minions, always lurking behind her like shadows, trailing after her like perfume and lies. I stiffened immediately, my spoon pausing mid-air. Liam’s eyes flicked up toward the door, and his entire posture changed—relaxed, but alert. “Well, well,” Beatrice’s voice sang out as she approached our table. “If it isn’t Zara. Eating ice cream like a real girl. Didn’t know sarcasm had calories.” I didn’t look up. Didn’t flinch. I’d heard worse from her. I focused on my dessert. Beatrice didn’t like being ignored.

She sat down at the breakfast bar, fingers playing with the corner of a discarded copy of Maud’s Chinwag magazine. Maud reached for a glass from a wooden storage cupboard. “Ye want some juice?” “No thanks,” Beatrice said. “Ye sound like ye’re luggin’ the world in yer handbag, young’un,” Maud said as she poured her drink. She left the carton on the counter and came to sit opposite Beatrice. “Ye and Lucas okay?” Beatrice smiled. “Seein’ that grin when I mention that young rascal’s name is proof enough,” Maud said. She took a sip from her drink. “So what’s eatin’ ye?”

Beyond the Divorce

Beyond the Divorce

" Finn's words were naive, revealing his enduring affection. After all these years, he remained true to his feelings, which was rare to see these days. Lauren listened attentively but didn't interrupt. "But I didn’t take school seriously enough. I didn't do well the first year and had to repeat a grade. During that year, Beatrice was already a senior in college and was doing an internship. I ended up getting into a college in Xyris and studied business management there for three years. By the time I was a senior, I heard about Beatrice's family facing one problem after another—first with Keller's Dairy, then her grandmother, and later, her mother."

This story should be a one star but I know it won’t show if I don’t give it a 5 star rate that how good novel works. Chapter are too short and this story is dragging on forever. I don’t know why I am still reading it. There’s no hot passionate scenes or chapters i don’t know how you got promoted.

I loved this book. I liked all the characters and their interactions. Loved Atlas & Chloe together. Parts of the book are very suspenseful and made it hard to put down. Liked that she was a mom and a business owner. She was strong and intelligent. Hated that the book was over. Highly recommend.

The Wife They Sent Away

The Wife They Sent Away

“This remarkable.” Marcus didn’t look at him, but something in his expression shifted. “Careful,” he said quietly. “You’re already underestimating her.” Lucas exhaled softly, but his eyes still on Aria. “I don’t think I am.” Not anymore. A few steps behind them, Beatrice watched in silence. Her gaze moved over Aria with a different kind of focus, less impressed, more measured. Then, almost to herself, she murmured, “She speaks like someone who already knows how this ends.”

Once His Abandoned Wife Now A Trillionaire Heiress

She gave a small shrug, forcing a brighter expression as she picked up her glass. "It's okay. That was years ago." For a moment, they simply looked at each other. Beatrice held his gaze, then looked away first, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. Then Alessandro spoke again, his voice gentler. "So what brought you to this city?" Beatrice traced the rim of her glass with one finger, circling it slowly before answering. "I wanted a fresh start." "And work?" She nodded, finally meeting his eyes again. "I work as an intern at Harrow Capital."

My Boyfriend’s Wedding

My Boyfriend’s Wedding

I would deny it to death if someone asked me, but at least inside my head, I could make not at all delicate comments about the other men and compare them to Colton. Unlike me, Beatrice made a point of playing charm and giggling even if I wasn't telling any joke, to make the men pay attention to her blonde hair and her green eyes. Needless to say, she easily got us to receive our first two drinks for free "courtesy from the men who watched us. Despite being a beautiful woman and knowing how to take advantage of her best attributes, Beatrice was the kind of beautiful woman who never worked with anyone. She assured me that she had never been with another woman, but that she doubted that she had
