Stealing the Heart of Mr. Steele

"Fly." In number sequence, each bug, a minature drone designed to look like a real insect, slowly rises. In the busy hotel lobby, only a few startled children notice anything and when they are bold enough to point their discoveries out to their parents, the hear a "Oh, very pretty," before being disregarded as children often are.

Become a Prisoner of The Mafia

Become a Prisoner of The Mafia

She squealed as she jumped away. "Oh, my goodness! It's moving!" squealed Selena as she looked at Axel. "Of course it's moving, it's a living creature. Of course living things can move. Oh, these are just horn beetles. They're completely harmless to humans." Axel stared at the animal Selena had found. "Really? I don't know why it looks poisonous to me," Selena replied. "Poisonous animals usually have colors that attract attention. Insects that are jet black or brown in color are usually not poisonous. Besides, the horned beetle only eats tree sap." Axel picked up the animal and looked at it closely.

The Immortal Emperor Returns

The Immortal Emperor Returns

They didn't expect such a strange insect to be so terrible and to influence their minds and remind them of the sad or happy past. Buzz! The Iron Five-spotted Beetle flapped its wings and rushed towards Chu Xun. It was very angry and wanted to penetrate Chu Xun's head. Clang! The power of True Energy burst out from Chu Xun's palm and the Iron Five-spotted Beetle was knocked back again. The Iron Five-spotted Beetle fell more than ten meters away, but it flapped its wings and flew again. This time, Chu Xun was shocked. He had used some power of True Energy to attack the insect, which was enough to break the gold and crack the stone. But this strange insect was not affected at all. It was so str

Alpha’s regret : The return of his rejected mate

Alpha’s regret : The return of his rejected mate

" I looked out the window. Something was moving through the giant corn. Something fast. It was green. Insectoid. A praying mantis the size of a horse burst from the foliage. Its scythe-like arms lashed out, hitting the side of the truck. CLANG. The armor dented. "Drive!" I yelled at Kai. We accelerated. More of them appeared. Giant beetles. Dragonflies with wingspans like gliders. The hyper-growth hadn't just affected the plants; it had affected the bugs that ate them. "They're attacking the metal!" Silas observed. "They sense the star-metal in the engine blocks!" "Leo!" I shouted. Leo was in the jeep ahead of us. He stood up in the passenger seat.

The Black Devil Omegaverse

The Black Devil Omegaverse

"What else could this wall be? Or the spiders? What else is dualistic in nature here? What aren't we seeing? Wait, why aren't they biting me?" "Because they're not spiders," Jinx said with a sigh. He brought one of the little red things up close to his eye. "They have six legs. They're grave beetles. They spin webs but don't bite. Unless you're dead. Which we're not. Yet." The bugs were said to be messengers of the gods. The old, old gods. The old as fuck, no one has worshiped them in generations gods. Jinx picked up his cards.

Stolen by the Mafia King

Stolen by the Mafia King

“Lux Corp is already in debt, isn’t it? You said so earlier!” “Yes!” I squeezed the pointer in my hand. “It’s the worst thing to admit. But I’m afraid that Lux Corp will very soon become an empty shell.” ***** [Harold Lux’s POV} The Pheropsophus Verticalis, known commonly as the Bombardier Beetle, helps humanity by returning the remains of the dead back to Mother Nature. It’s generally harmless—almost invisible. But when backed to a corner, the quarter inch insect is a self-destructive bomb that kills anything five times its size.

My Lord Alpha

My Lord Alpha

Immediately, they crept away towards all the cracks in the house that led outside. "What are they going to do?" Bernice said as she watched them leave. "You'll see," She replied. She was not that young, helpless girl Zipporah once knew all those years ago. She might as well show her what she was capable of. At that moment, giant steps sounded on the ground below. With each thud, the environment shook. Bernice peeped through a hole in the wall "Wait, is that not your dry dead beetles? They have grown to become giants."

How does this book have such low views? This is a masterpiece! This might be my first time reading a werewolf story so zealously without missing any details. Such a breath of fresh air and unique storyline from the other books in this app. The alternate universe, the timeline, everything is so good.

When I saw the title "The Lord Alpha" , I was like 'what the hell is this book about?' It never disappointed though. Wayne and Candice so much reveals how twisted our fates could be at times and I kept imagining how it'd be if I suddenly uncover my spouse was a mermaid or something weirder even...

Marriage First, Mate Second

Marriage First, Mate Second

They are, so to speak, his obsession. The view immediately leaves me in awe. How did Levi know that Matt was a bug fanatic? And more to the point, at what point did he have time to prepare something like this? "It's amazing," I admit, walking into the room. There are emerald green beetles climbing the leaves, and impossibly colorful butterflies perching on the flower petals; among the weeds I hear crickets chirping, and at the far end of the room, in what appears to be an isolated part of the greenhouse, I glimpse a honeycomb of bees.

Hunters: The Prequel

Hunters: The Prequel

Swiftly, Mane dashed forward, knowing that there was no way to take on that light head-on! *Boom* “Smart choice,” Professor Jackson acknowledged. “But it’s too late.” Several insects appeared around the professor as he spoke. This time, there weren’t just wasps but every other kind of insect as well. There were beetles with exoskeleton so hard that not even battle gods would confidently boast of being able to finish them off in one clean strike. There were swarms of bees and droves of ants and termites. There were dragonflies, grasshoppers, and even praying mantises. Every insect known to man was here, and each numbered in the hundreds!

I hope that’s not the end end. So many left off pieces of the story all his friends on the other world, all the other gods story lines, he’s only used his blood born weapons and armour twice. Hasn’t even made it out of dreamscape yet. Still have everything in true verse going on while he “asleep”

The Transcendent Zombie System

The Transcendent Zombie System

He shook his head and said, "I do not know." "you've entered the gates of hell!" The Black Bug Race seemed to have already seen Lucas' corpse. "Haha." Lucas smiled. Because he couldn't understand why the Black Bug Race dared to say such words to him. "Human, what are you laughing about?" The dozen Black Bug Race were all shocked. They couldn't understand why Lucas could still laugh. "I'm laughing because you don't know when you're about to die," Lucas slowly said. The beetles were enraged upon hearing this.

I genuinely love this book, only problems I have with it is the fact that he never actually travels with the people he gets to join him (hattie Mia etc) I wish there were more interaction between them all. second is that there are only 2 or so chapters a day....I have plenty of coins to waste...
