She just gazed at me, her eyes piercing and unyielding, as if waiting for me to explain or justify my outburst. It was then that I truly saw her eyes, like two rich, velvety brown pools that seemed to hold a depth of emotion and understanding. They were fringed with thick lashes that added to their allure, and their warmth drew me in like a gentle embrace. Her eyes were like melted chocolate, smooth and inviting, with hints of golden light that danced in their depths. They were eyes that seemed to see right through to my soul, and yet, they held a softness that made me feel like I was gazing into a gentle summer breeze.

Unfortunately, and shockingly, she didn’t find any such thing but streams of honey, warmer, thicker, and magnetic. She found no end to their depth, and she kept on diving deep into it.

Wondering a thing and two from what she just saw, heard and taken a liking to the prominent characters of this book and world right in front of her. “I haven’t seen anyone of them.” She thought, cracking the puzzle that might not be one in the first place. But as she is looking at the eyes of her living prison, while all along is taking notes of the souls that took her interest and will be her little prey once a bit of her dark essence and mana will find its way and escape this darkness. “Not even a single one.”

Grace spread her arms defensively. “Yes. She's not." Amaya spoke up too. I just stood behind them with a rigid heart. It was as if the cigar had wiped away my fear hormone. “Let me just follow her. I'll be back girls." I said with less concern, my voice deeper than usual. Grace turned to me, worries written all over her face.

Her defiance was palpable in the air, lurking beneath those enchanting blue eyes. Eyes that still haunt my dreams every night, more so now that she lies next to me. From the little mole underneath her left eye to the small crease on her brow whenever she was angling for a fight, her body had become an open book, revealing the storm before it washed all of us away. When I looked at her eyes I found her beautiful from inside. "For a while I thought I had won a beautiful world. I could see a painful story in her eyes. I felt like I fell in Love with a world through her eyes. Her sparkled eyes told me a story that made my heart weep. The look in her eyes heals me. I wanted to wrap her in my arms and wanted to tell her that she is safe forever. She wear her truth in her eyes". Then suddenly I remembered that we were lying on the ground. And I'm in an imaginary world. I hurriedly got up from her. She stood up and walked towards her room. When she reached her door she turned back and looked at me and then she went inside her room.

She then felt his torso flexing and then the book she was reaching for, slid in her vision. “Here,” he drew her attention to the book in his soft voice. She fought back her growing nervousness and gingerly took the book from his hand. Slowly turned around to face him. His green eyes sucked her in immediately. They had to be the best pair of eyes she had ever seen- so kind, so gentle, so full of warmth. She knew they also held a darkness of their own. She had caught on the coldness lurking around the corner of his eyes, waiting to take over. Se hadn’t seen their dark side but she could tell it would be just as beautiful.
