Amber's POV The address on the back of Wolfe's card led me to a building in the Financial District that had no signage. Not unusual in Manhattan. Plenty of serious money operated behind unmarked doors. But this building had a particular quality of invisibility that felt intentional rather than incidental. Twelve stories of dark glass and clean lines, wedged between two older limestone buildings on a narrow street that most GPS systems routed around rather than through. I know that there are a few tomes that are under lock and key for safety reasons, but if it’s just basic background information you’re looking for, then I think you should be able to find something.” Nora led us to the back of the large room, where we came upon a narrow bookcase and an entire glass case that had a large metal lock on its doors. I read a few of the spines before coming across one titled ‘Creaturae et Ineffabilia’. “Creatures and Unspeakables,” I muttered. “This one looks promising.”

"Yes. One needs to push that book in order for this library to move. A row of stairs downward would appear behind this. But for us, there's no need for that."
