"Don't!" My beta shouted at me and I froze. I continued to watch as the informant struggled against the death that wanted to take hold of him. The struggle continued for only about five minutes more and then, life was snuffed out of the man. I shook my head in dismay as I looked at the lifeless body of the man who had been breathing before me only a few minutes earlier. I looked at Holden and I saw the man also looking at the dead man in the same level of shock that I was. Holden's shock vanished very quickly and he dropped down to the man's side. He examined the completely burnt, unrecognizable body and he shook his head.

The man opened his eyes and fearfully looked at the man over him. “Who sent you? If you be honest, I will spare you and your men.” Blake said sternly. The man looked around at the dozen men he had brought; they were all lying on the grown, not knowing if they were breathing. Without saying a sound looked away from Blake’s glare. Earlier, he was confident he would make a quick amount of money; all he had to do was shoot up this rich man’s home and collect the body for the reward. Who would have dreamed this man was unnatural?

My eyes blink a few times at the word. The man in front of me had killed the men who kidnapped me. I saw the way he ripped their throats out with his paws and the way they screamed in pain, they begged for mercy but he didn’t surrender. All I saw was a beast, a dangerous beast without boundaries. Then again, it feels weird to be sitting here next to a man that I barely even know. How can I trust him? “You killed those men,” I mutter under my breath, almost inaudible.

He finally grabbed a copy of the book he wanted to enter. The book was thick and old. Its cover was yellowish-brown with a crusty texture. I couldn't see the title because the cover was worn out through the test of time. I asked Doom what the story was about, he told me that it was his favorite tale and he really wanted to meet the character. "You can't speak with the character; we can only enter the setting and watch the story progress. The character can never see us," "Whatever, just bring me here," said Doom, smiling from ear to ear.

Nov saw the words more than he heard them, for his ears were filled with his own screams while the beast licked his lips before disappearing in the smoke again. “I was going to kill you, Demon, but now, I decided that I will keep you alive, just enough for you to watch as I fuck her one thousand times before I kill her!” Nov hissed, watching as the smoke spread all around him, but the beast didn’t show himself, his eyes were not able to locate him either, he was everywhere the smoke was, but he didn’t give up, instead, he stood tall, his smirk back on his face, “She did look so inviting, naked and spread for me, don’t worry, I will make you watch, but not touch!”

I wouldn’t trade it, but I’m starting to feel uncomfortable. Well, more uncomfortable. “Maybe if you found the right man, he could convince you,” he said. “Maybe,” I mumbled. “I guess.” The man reaches up a hand and brushes the hair back from my shoulder. His thumb brushes the skin of my neck. It’s too close, too intimate. It startles me and I flinch. In the next instant, Beau is suddenly beside me. He’s holding the man’s offending hand by the wrist and glaring. The man blinks. “Can I help you?”

The bell above the door gave a soft little ring. “Do you have any sunflowers today?” The man’s voice was warm and low, touched with an easy smile. I looked up and saw a tall man standing just inside the doorway. He wore a light gray coat and held a newly bought book in one hand. His features were clean-cut, his eyes clear. When he looked at me, there was no lingering stare, no intrusion in it. “Yes,” I said, setting down the shears. “We just got some in. They’re fresh.”

“But as you say, this is only a part of your future that I saw. Also I never get to know the reason of your action. Trust yourself and put my readings and visions at the back of your head. Humans can only endeavor to do their best to their last breaths.” Belle couldn’t believe the vision the man had seen. She? Killing? It was impossible. “Also I am sorry I have scratched your hand,” the man politely stated. “Your words shocked me a lot more than the wound on my hand is. I don’t mind it,” Belle breathed out. “If you feel guilty answer me truthfully. Are you a demon?” She then questioned boldly. I looked back and saw a strange man. The man was so handsome as if he was from a painting. He blinked at me. I was a little dazed and shy. I had never seen such a handsome man. Author’s POV:

I saw the man's eyes snap to me, however it was if he wasn't seeing me. I fell onto my belly and stole one greater look at the unusual man earlier than I handed out cold.... possibly I'll be lucky and he might not kill me.
