WHEN LOVE LAST
I could see the confusion in her eyes, and I knew I had to make my move now.
"Sure, Red," Max said, standing up from her seat.
We walked out of the room, and I took a deep breath, trying to calm my nerves.
"Max, I know I messed up. I shouldn't have taken down your confession, and I shouldn't have pushed you away. I was just scared, and I didn't want to lose you," I said, my voice shaking with emotion.
Max looked at me, her eyes softening. "Red, I-"
"I know it's too late now, But I can't help the way I feel. I still love you, Max, and I can't shake the feeling that we're meant to be together," I interrupted her.
