90 DAYS WITH BELLA.
It was time to go home.
The penthouse was quiet when I stepped inside. Quiet, except for the sound of a movie playing softly in the living room.
I found Bella curled up on the couch, a bowl of popcorn in her lap, the glow of the TV reflecting off her face. She looked up when I walked in, her lips curling into that easy smile of hers.
“You’re home early,” she teased. “By your standards, anyway.”
I loosened my tie. “It’s not early.”
“For you, it is.” She popped a piece of popcorn in her mouth. “Want to join me? It’s a terrible movie, but terrible movies are the best.”
