Back in the present—— Lydia peeks at Gwen as she writes her card, then snickers. "What are you laughing at?" Gwen twisted her head to look at her, her blonde hair slipping off her shoulders, displaying a beautiful wave shape. Lydia looked at Gwen with one hand on her chin, "I ...... I just think you're different." Gwen snorted a laugh. "Could it be that I'm Gwen from another parallel time?"

I soon heard their car leave, I heaved out a sigh. Did Gwen say anything to them? Or alert anybody or tell her friends, no she wouldn't. I will just wait for her to come back and question her then find a way to contact Tomas, My second hand man. Arianna spoke up, battling her lashes at Trent and twisting her hands as if to indicate pain. Trent paused, staring at both of us for a second, “Celine, you are the Luna so you understand right? I will send some guards to get you and take care of you. All right?” He paused, but his eyes weren't staring at mine, “Just hang in there, okay.” I groaned, my entire body automatically hurt. I wish I could tear into him. Arianna winked at me, showing off her smug victory face and I almost decided to hell with the pain but I didn't even sit up before the pain sent me sprawling back.

______________ . . . Gwen smiled as she stared at the photo of her standing next to a wolf Greg on the day of his first shift. He was twelve then. And what a magnificent wolf he was. White fur with specks of grey here and there. Amber eyes that reflected so much kindness. So much like their father. “You promise you are not going to die?” Gwen looked up from her phone and sat back in her chair. “You scared I might?” Greg sighed as he walked in, placing his favorite gadget on the couch across the room before walking over to her desk and sitting opposite her.

All that I can get of him. A brush of cold air whooshes between us and I blink, trying to process what is happening. Ben's face twists like he's in pain. "Wha-" "Told you, deviant, you should have done my laundry." Gwen stands at the door with a purplish jar in the shape of a pyramid in her hand. "How did you get in my room?" I feel a tugging sensation in the air, and I turn back to Ben, his fingers slipping from mine as he fades from view. He's trying to say something to me, his eyes fill with desperation, but I can't make anything out.

Ben nodded and walked towards the front door. Gwen walked towards the back and saw the secretaries looking past her at Ben and pointing at a monitor. Her boyfriend Troy was standing behind them with a grim look on his face. He glared at her and her eyebrows went up. "How do you know this guy?" he blurted. "What the Hell? Where is that coming from?" she barked back at him. He pointed at the monitor so she looked. There was Ben in all his naked glory... in bronze. He was... big! Her eyes went wide. "Oh my god! That's HIM?!? Ben is the bronze god?" she gasped.

She ever so gently touched Echo’s forehead, and we both heard her heart rate pick up as the panic increased enough to make me gasp. Gwen quickly kneeled beside the bed, so that she was on the same level as Echo. Everything about her body language, facial expressions, and movements screamed calmness and safety. “Hello, my name is Gwen.” Her voice was equally soothing, and I felt some of the tightness in my chest lessen, although her heart rate stayed high. “I am twenty-three years old, and I enjoy crocheting and writing in my journal. It seems that I am going to be joining the Blood Moon pack as the new therapist, as your therapist. That is only if you’ll have me, Luna?”

Gwen called out and the girl released another wave of flame that hit Sakasha. She raced into the portal as the smoke pulled at her quickly. "Expectro thundraka!" Gwen yelled with a voice that sent lightning shooting out of the ground, discomforting Sakasha who shrieked loudly and had no option but to retreat. Gwen walked backwards into the opening and it swallowed her up. .. .. .. A Red Lamborghini came to halt in the compound where Trixie's creation was on their knees to welcome her arrival. The doors slid open and she got down with Agatha Cruz and Laura who were now behind her.

Okay, something was not right. I looked at Gwen more carefully, and my own smile gradually disappeared. "Gwen... who is she?" She closed her eyes, took a slow breath, and opened them again without saying a single word. Okay, now I was genuinely worried. "Gwen?" She finally looked directly into my eyes. "...She..." She paused again, then forced herself to finish. "...she is Alpha Kael's former chosen mate.”

GWEN's POV Five years later... "Welcome to the Summerbell Villa, Madame Gwen." The wheels of the black SUV rolled to a stop in front of the grand estate, its towering iron gates parting to welcome me home after a few years ago. I let out a quiet breath as I glanced at my daughter, Kira, seated beside me. She was clutching her small stuffed bunny, her big brown eyes, peering out the window in awe. "Mommy," she whispered, her tiny voice filled with wonder. "Where are we?"
