Benedict X Novels & Stories

Rose said, "While you're at it, drag Jericho back to wherever you found him, too. I will be in my chambers once you finally figure out another plan that does not involve any of them." The old man sighed tiredly. "Rose...did you really think that every time I say you have no choice, I say it just to be difficult?" Rose paused, studying the priest carefully. Father Benedict had the immortal blessing of the Christian God, and he had been the leader of his loyal followers for centuries. Rose had always been amazed at how ageless he looked. But at that moment, it seemed like the years had caught up to him all at once. He looked haggard and tired, and his hands shook as he pushed his spectacles fu

"And I know that she knows where we met." "She does?" Filomena questions, raising an eyebrow and staring at me. "Since you don't remember me, we met in Senegal... when you visited Richard." "Oh, right," X says, pretending to remember. "I apologize for not remembering you." "Alright, I know it was only two days and it was difficult to remember everyone who was part of the organization. But I'm glad that someone there actually cares about helping others." "I only do what Jesus taught us: Love your neighbor as yourself," X says, staring intensely at me. Unbelievable how low he can stoop, loving your neighbor as yourself? Yeah, right...

"I don't know you." Blushing, Benedict felt as though he had gotten turned down after trying to chat somebody up. Xena rolled her eyes and anxiously asked, "Dear, are you sure you've seen her before?" Benedict gave her a firm nod. "Yes, I'm sure." Immediately, Xena's expression shifted. She knew Benedict way too well. Every day, he was either loafing in an entertainment outlet or on the way to one. Where else could he have met Helen before? It had to be at some entertainment outlet!

Benedict's icy glare felt like a winter storm, chilling Sabrina to her core. Her heart raced with a mix of fear and heartbreak as she faced him. He was Benedict Thompson, the only heir to the Thompson estates, a man known more for his wild ways than for his business brilliance. At a young age, he became a billionaire and led BMX Estates, a huge architectural firm. Now, he paced angrily in his family’s luxurious living room, each step echoing the thick tension in the air.

Instead of answering Benedict's question, I heaved a sigh alone and let my silence speak for me. Xavier won't hold his tongue and speak. “That's what I'm curious about. My man is not the type who gets absent-minded just because he’s bothered. And worse is it's about a girl.” “Let's try hearing him out. Maybe I can help?” I snorted at Benedict. “You can't even fix your secret affair with your secretary and you're offering help?” Instead of being provoked by my statement, Benedict chose to team up with Xavier to get a further reaction from me. I hate it because it's working. I'm reacting.

Surely, there was never smoke without fire, and beneath this smoke was a brightly burning, dangerously heating, and fast-spreading fire. "Let me begin by offering my condolences to you, The Romanos, for the unfortunate and untimely loss of Charles, who, as we all know, was a father, and also a friend." This voice belonged to Johnathan Bennett, the Patriarch of The Bennett family. He is also the CEO of Bennett Conglomerate and the long-time rival of Charles. He was seated clad in a suit and tie, his face was filled with sadness.

“You idiot! You know you’re not a match for him with that physique!” “I was the one who asked for it, Sir. He merely accepted.” “You bloodthirsty little…” Alexander couldn’t help but sigh at his servant’s one weakness, and that was the challenge of and thirst for a fight. “Any news about Nicodemus?” “Nothing about him… but there’s something of interest about his visitor.” “Oh, the human. His name… what was it again?” “Benedict, sir. Also called Ben.” Joseph took the paper from Alexander’s hand and smacked him lightly, imitating the one his master did earlier.

He called for his horse and was soon headed into the city to see Benedict. Tordor walked with Benedict to his chambers. Benedict said little but thanked Tordor and bade him goodnight. Tordor greeted Hester before departing and asked her to see that Benedict was well rested. She assured Tordor that she would see to it. Benedict sank into his chair and Hester poured him a cup of wine which he accepted thankfully and downed almost immediately. She poured him another and sat on his lap. “I am so sorry to hear of Raeme’s passing. It is so sad to hear that people die from such meaningless events.”

"Celestine, I am not hiding anything. I wouldn't dare. She fixed her eyes, not wavers. It never did. Her silence, beauty, and deadlines were like frost laying over a field. "You did not respond to my query," she replied. "Did you expose my son to your niece?" The hush that followed seemed almost alive. The throat of Benedict went dry. His mind flew, looking for the correct interpretation of the reality one that would not bring about his death. By Celestine, or better still by Kaiser. He swallowed. “No,” he said at last. “I did no such thing.”

Felix, Anthony, and Benedict. Benedict is a short, wirey, brunette kid that’s obsessed with the hockey team that plays at the stadium, the Bronx Bears. I’ve seen him at games and I know because he’s always with Mr. Capaldi, or one of the men that follows the family around like secret service agents off in the distance at all times. He’s a freshman. Felix Capaldi looks a lot like Domitus, but he’s shorter, and he’s got a scar above his left eyebrow. I know who he is because Ellie talks about him a lot. The two have home economics together and he always screws up their projects because they’re partners.
