Benny Blanco relaxed by the Bar, as he requested for a bottle of rum, and he sat by the counter, the place was filled with whatever people you could think of, from ex convicts, petty thieves to bandits and the like, and here he was celebrating his sixteenth birthday, in a bar, his master wouldn’t be more proud.

Benny popped up from behind the rock like a jack jumping out of its box. "Ready?" he asked. Benjamin was a sixteen-year-old that had saved mine and our lives several times. They had set up the tripod looking down the length of the treadmill from the front, with the window providing light from behind. Tiffany mounted the treadmill and began an intense pace to get sweaty quickly. Back in his room, Ben mentally recapped the plan. The scene was mostly recorded from a fixed position. Benny frightfully replied to his buddy. "Calm down, Benny. Whatever killed him has long gone by now. Let's search for tracks first and scour the area around the body. Ben asked, “What do you think about my idea?” “I didn’t do it because I can’t throw far.” “Well, then I’m gonna try and see what happens.” Ben climbed the ladder in the stockroom up to the roof hatch. He grabbed a handful of nuts and bolts to throw as far as he could. He tiptoed over to the edge of the roof and spotted the black sand monster. Counting to himself: One, two, three! Ben threw the nuts and bolts like a fastball. The monster undulated and crackled as it slithered faster than any snake could. Damnit! ‘That thing’s too fast’, he thought. Ben returned to the sales floor where Tommy and Paul were waiting.

We found Benny in his usual spot at the docks, perched on a stack of crates with a cigarette dangling from his lips and a flask in his hand. His wiry frame was silhouetted against the setting sun, his face shadowed beneath his ratty old ball cap. He looked up as we approached and killed our bikes, his eyes narrowing slightly before recognition kicked in. “Talon Nash,” he drawled, “to what does this old man owe the pleasure?” I dismounted my bike and walked over to him, Dex and Norris flanking me like shadows. “Benny,” I said, nodding. “We need to talk.”

Benny was same age as Caleb. He had coco brown hair and grey colored eyes. I remember him because when Dylan visited Arizona with Benny, I spent most of my time with Benny when Dylan, Tyler and other Alphas were busy hunting. “Nope, you are just on time”, Dylan replied in a polite voice.

Benny is sitting on Roman's left, Andrei is sitting on his right, the twins are giving Coach hell, and Slate is tucked away in a corner with his own laptop. Benny keeps asking me questions about my classes and being his normal sunshiny self while Roman grunts along. He's got everyone else fooled with his tough guy attitude, but I'm learning it's because if he lets too many people in, then he has more people that he'll care about and worry over.
