What he saw then had left him speechless. Pavan had partially awakened a dormant physique—something incredibly rare. The Berserker Physique. A brutal, chaotic body-type known for unmatched strength, terrifying stamina… and mindless destruction. According to Danial’s inheritance scrolls, the Berserker Physique was almost mythical. Usually only seen in monstrous warriors or heavily muscled body refiners. Pavan was… well, Pavan. Smart-mouthed, lean, and occasionally lazy. How he had that physique was a mystery.

Meanwhile, in the darkest part of a forest, sitting on a tree trunk, Midgard hummed a song, patting the head of a decapitated cubron, a bear-like creature. "Hmm~ My Goodness... How refreshing... It had sharp claws at least a meter long, huge paws on a thick body on which rested a head armed with long, sharp teeth.

As far as she could see, he wasn’t armed, but he might be some sort of a sorcerer or something. As concerned as she was that the monster she’d come to kill had disappeared into thin air, she had to deal with this mysterious person first. He didn’t look threatening as he stood across from her, sizing her up, but he didn’t look happy either. Nya had faced off against many an angry, muscular man in her life. “These monsters were running from an Ursus!” Dio furrowed his brows as he looked ahead. The mercenaries behind him gasped as they looked at the two-meter tall bear-like monster. He clenched his fists when he realized that the ursus in front of him were stronger than those he encountered in the upper and middle floors of the dungeon. Its strength could be on par with those of the monsters on the 80th floor or below. “Give way for the horde!” Dio commanded as the monsters were closing in. The others immediately responded to his command even though he wasn’t given the authority to command over them.

This was either a new type of creature or something about which the system was unaware. But I don't require the system to inform me of anything. I've seen cases like this before in monsters. Berserk. A skill that trades intellect for temporary strength and power. The monster who utilizes this ability grows in size and becomes overgrown with absurd muscles, no longer resembling what it was before. And it was the same in this instance. The man had a swelling upper body and a much smaller lower body that made no sense, the human head had crimson red eyes, and the neck was twisted in a way that would have killed any human.

I typed 'Berserker' and a lot of meanings appeared but there is one thing that caught my attention. Although similar groups have been found around the world, berserker generally refers to the small class of Nordic peoples who could be found preforming inhuman feats on the battlefield. When in combat a berserker would fight nude and/or completely unarmored, sometimes taking the skins of bears, wolves or other beasts to heighten his appearance. Uncontrollable rage is the signature of the berserker.
