Seven floors from what I can see. A massive fountain stands proudly out front, crowned by two carved wolves and a statue of the Moon Goddess. The gardens on either side burst with exotic trees and flowers, some clearly not native. I drive past the main structure and follow a narrow road toward the training arena. It’s massive—open-air, stone-lined, surrounded by bleachers. Real gladiator vibes.

He ran breathlessly, only longing to reach the castle. They arrived at a Cascade: aquarium-blue and filling the air in their space with goodness. They had some rest, only then did he notice that Alpha Marcus had already passed out. He increased his pace until an ancient castle came into view. The castle was tall like skyscrapers having over ten floors in it. It was fortified with thick metallic walls roundabout it. This fortification was meant to destroy any vampire that attempts to come into their territory.

Only it was dark with a fiery glow coming from between crevices. The castle was bare of any decorations––there were no expensive chandeliers or furniture like they have seen in their world. The floor was bare of carpet and looked like a volcanic rock, even the castle walls looked like one.

Tall trees overgrew the region around it, shading it from excessive sunlight. A strange altar in its courtyard caught my attention. It was made of pitch-black stone and the bust of a strange creature adorned its top. It looked like a cross between a bat and a human skeleton. My jaws hung open and the words left my lips as a whisper, “Isn’t that the famous Certon Stone?” “You guessed it right. We are at the Certon Castle.” “Don’t tell me you are going to attack them alone?” “A bit of correction. I am not going to attack. I am going to slaughter!” Her voice dripped with such vehemence that I shuddered.

Erica said looking out the window. I turned to see a castle three times the size of the palace I was staying at with Jasper. Unlike the city buildings with more gray stone and dark brick exteriors, the castle had a red brick exterior with a stone roof that gave it a welcoming vibe. Some pillars surrounded an even bigger building, and even though many different parts of the building looked separate, it was one whole building. We pulled up to a large black gate that opened wide for us, we drove up the long driveway that looped back around. The car door opened from the outside and Erica ushered me out of the car, people were waiting on the castle's steps.

Not even that of the guards, nor the supposed Alpha Kieran. The journey continued until after about three long hours when the car came to a sudden halt. I was then pulled out of the car. Standing in front of me was a black gigantic castle, which had a very bizarre sculpture at the front yard. Its surroundings looked scanty, like it was a ghost town. It was surrounded by long fences which stood above ten feet long, and had a pool which was bloodstained. The stench from the left hand side of the castle hit my heavily, that I turned and saw what resembled an abattoir.

Emerged on the roof to chaos—three berserkers already up here, fighting with the garrison wolves. The catapults were visible on the ridge maybe two hundred yards out, teams loading another volley. Serna counted the time, maybe thirty seconds between shots. "SERNA BEHIND YOU." Someone screamed. She spun, berserker right there with an axe coming at her head. Dropped flat, felt the blade whistle overhead. Came up with her knife, opened his belly sideways. He went down screaming, guts trying to fall out. She stepped over him, moved toward the next one.
