A Taste of my best friend.

A Taste of my best friend.

We began to hold regular gatherings, where we shared stories, laughter, and dreams for the future. With each passing day, the pain of the past began to heal, replaced by the warmth of connection. I found solace in my growing bond with Roy and Jax, our friendship blossoming into something deeper. There were moments where our eyes would meet, where the unspoken words lingered, and I felt a spark igniting between us.

Crushing On My Bad Boy Billionaire Best Friend

Crushing On My Bad Boy Billionaire Best Friend

Liam, he’s still debating. “Guys, can we just chill out and not talk about boys. You’re doing my head in. Stop with the whole Liam shit.” This time I focus on my book. Lilly and Tammy are silent. For all of a minute if that. “Well,” says Tammy. “Personally, I think it would be the best thing ever.” “Me too.” Adds Lilly. “Besides, my momma always says that you fall in love with your best friend.” “Whatever.” I mumble. “I’m not listening. I’m reading.”

a drink we call loneliness

a drink we call loneliness

We end up arguing about his best book, and then about the worst pop albums made in the early 2000’s over dessert. For being someone who hasn’t had many friends in my lifetime, I think I could get used to this. Quiet dinner parties and chats about what’s on tv or the latest news. I used to believe I needed to have a big group of friends to be happy or have intense meaningful conversations all the time, and for the longest time, I put all those expectations on people. When betrayals and gossip made their appearance into the big friend groups I once hung with, I realized it was for the best I steered clear from all of that. It clearly wasn’t my scene.

Double cross

Double cross

“She won’t. We’ll all be friends.” “No wahala,” I said. “You both can be best friends. I’ll just be a normal friend.” “There’s a difference, you know,” I added. “A friend is someone you enjoy spending time with. But a best friend? That’s someone you deeply trust — someone like family.” …………………….. page break ……………….. Meanwhile, in a quiet, dark corner of the school — far from the staffroom — something else was happening. Kingsley stood facing Mrs. Ajayi. Alone.

The Price Of Betrayal: A Matter of Revenge

The Price Of Betrayal: A Matter of Revenge

Kayla knew it was going to be hilarious, but she just wanted to read the book and take some lessons through the book because that's what's helping her now. "Just read it and stop laughing about it. He knows how I am always bothered about constant misunderstandings, so I decided to go online and search for novels I should read to keep a healthy relationship with my best friend, and this had the highest ratings, so I had to get it for both of us, and look, it's working." Finally Sally could understand the reason why she's so Kayla in her place of work. Obviously it's stated in the book that when both friends are having a misunderstanding, one should visit the other where she works.

Her Facebook Friend.

Her Facebook Friend.

[Jacqueline] [Jacqueline's POV] I grew up hearing the admonition that friends are the root of all evil, that your company will decide who you are going to be. Today, however, my perception changed. Friends, in and of themselves, are neither evil nor good; it is only what happens with us once we make friends that what qualities we absorb from them. But friends can be a bubble of happiness, for maintaining our happy lives. We need to have friends to keep us alive and not just simply living a boring life. Rohan was livid at her response.

I love stories of people's struggles. We can't escape from it. The character of Jacqueline seems real to me. Her struggles, her pain. I feel it all. Hoping she gets a happy ending. And please update fast.😊

My Best Friend's Father

My Best Friend's Father

“After you left, Carlos made me realize I was only thinking about me and that for most of our friendship, it’s always been about me. I’ve been a terrible friend.” “You haven’t. You—” “I know I befriended you when you needed it most. But that’s not good enough. I didn’t know what you were going through.” “It’s not your fault. I didn’t tell you.” “But I still should’ve known. A good friend would’ve known.” “Gia, you are a good friend—my best friend. You can’t keep blaming yourself for that.” “What about me asking you to choose between me and Papi?” “Well, yeah, that one you were out of line for, but I know you had your reasons. We’re here now—let’s move on and forget about the past. I just wan

My Brother’s Best Friend

My Brother’s Best Friend

I don’t know the extent of his home life and I never push to find out about it but I know it wasn’t good. He once told me one of his favorite things about me was that I never pried into his business, which is ironically what most people hate about me. I’ve been called a bad friend so many times because when someone is crying, upset, angry, irritated, they want you to ask about it but I never do. I guess I just feel like if you want me to know then you’ll tell me. I lucked out with my roommate Lydia, we are great friends because I never have to ask what’s wrong or if she’s ok she will just bust in and tell me exactly what’s going on. She’s the talker and I’m the listener, we work perfectly.

MY BEST FRIEND ...AND MORE

MY BEST FRIEND ...AND MORE

Forgive my manners, my name is Audrey O'Connor, and I am a freshman in UCLA—we all are—me, Lislie, Liam, and two other of my female friends that you will get to meet soon. Liam had been my best friend since middle school, and we had remained buddies from then until now. Our families became closer as a result of our friendship, and people usually referred to us as siblings. My dad and his dad worked in the same company, but it was our friendship that brought them closer. Same with my mum. We usually took turns having dinner at each other's houses or went out for treats. They let us sleep over at each other's houses, go to school together, shopping, church; we did virtually everything together
