Depressing Sad Books Novels & Stories

I scoffed, I realized I actually had no choice but to read instead of just staying here and drowning in my thoughts and depression. The silence was too loud, and my mind was too full of what-ifs, regarding the baby’s future, Selene's strained face during her daily visits, and the growing chaos I could sense even from down here. So I reached for one of the books on top of the pile Selene had brought for me yesterday, a thick volume with a faded leather cover about lost realms and forgotten magic.

C H A P T E R 2 : T H E B L U E E N V E L O P E ~ Being depressed is like falling into a black hole that you can not climb out of. Depression is a wound that never heals. A wound in the back of your mind that can’t be touched because it hurts too much. It’s always there and never goes away. Constant pain, a constant reminder. Every thought is a battle, every breath is a war, and you will lose on both fronts if you give it a chance.

I am thinking on how to get away from this. I haven't even started but looking into these books? My mind is already aching, I feel sick! I messed up my hair and collapsed into the chair. How the hell am I going to start? I have no choice. I heaved a depressed sigh and scanned the books. I am looking for a title that will catch my attention, but these are books. Never in my entire life will I be caught by a book.

I hate reading those kind of books. I prefer books like Eleanor and Park, Holding up the Universe, A very large expanse of sea. Generally, light novels that'd just make me smile. A sun is also a star, books with breathtaking ending that'd make you feel things." She concluded, leaning back in her seat and I found myself leaning forward, hands on the desk separating us. I wondered fleetingly what it'd feel like to share her views. The books she hated were books I'd consider brutally honest and the books she liked

How I hate sad endings! Books take you into a different world and if they can't make you smile, laugh, scream in exasperation and cry then it's not a great book. But happy endings are better and... happier. I sighed as I changed into my denim shorts. I needed a walk with my headphones or this depression of my new fictional crush's (Augustus Waters) death would haunt me for at least two hours or days or months. First escape books. Second escape, music. Books with awesome and addictive fictional guys should be banned. They simply increase real life expectations.
