Hidden Monarch: The Silent Resurgence

Hidden Monarch: The Silent Resurgence

Anna called Henry into the room after her conversation with Lydia. She took out an ancient book and handed it to him. "What's this?" Henry saw three words on the cover—Holy Demon Scriptures. "This is the Holy Clan's highest practice, the Holy Demon Scriptures. I watched you fight the last time, and it seemed like you also practiced the Infernal Scripture. "The Infernal Scriptures is only a part of the Holy Demon Scriptures, and it's not as advanced and perfect as the Holy Demon Scriptures, so I retrieved this for you," Anna explained.

– Enquidu arrived beside Horus, when the other agents were cleaning the place. - No, she's dead, like everyone else here. - Horus said. - Let's go back, the experts and the priests can solve this. – Inanna-Istar said. - Well, I'm here for that, for risk control. – The priest arrived there. - A zombie god from one of the books stolen from the council library? – Inanna-Ishtar. - This is a copy, who took it was her father for the ceremony of an attack in another dimension. - The priest said.

Dragon Born Luna

Dragon Born Luna

A first edition of Meridian's Bestiary, one of only three known copies, lay in the fireplace, its charred edges still smoking faintly. I crouched beside a toppled shelf, running my thumb over the embossed title of a fallen book: On the Nature of Forgotten Gods. The sheer breadth of knowledge in this room made my chest tighten. Histories of dead civilizations. Treatises on magic even the scholars feared to practice. Accounts of creatures that should have stayed myth. And as I stood in the midst of the wreckage, breathing in the scent of ink and blood and broken things, I understood why someone would take her.

God, I thought Caius had this book destroyed after what it did to Agron. I swallowed, looking at the thing with morbid curiosity. Elegant but still crude markings flowed out across the cover; I recognized them as cuneiform. On the surface were reliefs of strange creatures I’d never seen before and wolf-like beings. Whatever scene was being depicted, it wasn’t friendly. *It’s the Great War, the war with the deabru. These books are what they used to create the great gates from their world to ours and practice the evil magic that perverted the very essences of the soul. They were supposed to be destroyed on sight.*

Such a good story! The story flows well. Doesn’t go on too long describing a vibe or paragraphs of how one foliage growing on a home looks like (looking at you, Anne Rice). Seriously, though, “Jilguera” is a wonderful storyteller. Read this story. It’s so good.

Creative show not tell like of story. Unique and dosent have “breaks” or emotional slow parts. Love the diversity and embracing unconventional circumstances. Also it’s not to long or drawn out, it’s just the right length. A delightful afternoon read 10/10 thank you!

The Nether Alchemist: Tales of a Necessary Evil

The Nether Alchemist: Tales of a Necessary Evil

Nelanian could hear the clicking sound his knees made when they almost buckled. “ The necessary evil serves as a counterbalance. There is Good and Evil, just as there is black and white, light and darkness. We don't do what you do for the sake of self-preservation; we do it to keep the balance. Most people utilise the Manna Fields to create positive energy, while others use it to create negative energy. There are abnormalities within those two groupings. It is our responsibility to correct any inconsistencies and maintain the balance between the two sides. The nature of the anomalies is something we can't predict. One could be a vicious tyrant who murders his subjects and violates their huma

The Mafia Lycan's Obsession

The Mafia Lycan's Obsession

It would take her months for sure! She looked at the one she had just kept aside. So far, in the four hours of unbroken concentration, the only thing she had been able to garner was the origin of gods, the origin of the world, the origin of the supernaturals present in the world. And she wasn’t even sure her transcriptions had been correct, if the beings that had been mentioned in the book existed now. Like dragons. What were the flying creatures doing in this century? She had peeped at the date of publication; 1506. How had Jiraq gotten these books? She wondered; her eyes still fixed on them. And to think that he had promised her more if they returned to the pack.

That is why he never tried to use it on himself even after getting his hand on the infamous the holy grail Annunaki were deities in ancient Mesopotamia and were almost exclusively anthropomorphic. They were thought to possess extraordinary powers and were often envisioned as being of tremendous physical size. The deities typically wore melam, an ambiguous substance which "covered them in terrifying splendor". Melam could also be worn by heroes, kings, giants, and even demons. The effect that seeing a deity's melam has on a human is described as ni, a word for the physical tingling of the flesh. Deities were almost always depicted wearing horned caps, consisting of up to seven superimposed pa

The Delta's Daughter - Book 1

The Delta's Daughter - Book 1

Inanna was way back in my mind, almost hiding, but she didn’t give me a nervous vibe. Maybe this was something she wanted me to discover for myself; maybe she thought it best not to tell me. Either way, I knew she had her reasons and eventually she would have to come clean with me. As Wilson left the library, I went down to the first floor, found myself a comfy couch, and opened the book. I flipped through it looking for anything about my wolf's spirit, other great wolves were named along with a history of how their wolfs came to be, and how the moon goddess mated and produced offspring. A few pages in and my eyes froze on the page:

It's been a wonderful journey reading through these stories (book 1 to book 3). If you are new here, you can start with this book then book 2 (Rise of a Queen) and book 3 (The Gladiator Wolf King). I am now reading book 4 (HUNJI: A Broken Wolf & The Last Witch of Andora). You won't be disappointed!

War of freedom.. War is inevitable

War of freedom.. War is inevitable

And although they all worked together for the same goal, everyone had their own special sides and brought them into the colorful mosaic that depicted life like a precious little stone. Raen was also to have lessons on Ban Arnor, the book of warriors, which recorded all the rules and commandments of the warrior caste. And he was excited when they first went to the priests' study, which was above the Upper Sanctuary. There was a large cupboard there, with only a large gold disk on the otherwise plain doors. It split in half when Chodan opened the cupboard. The old priest bowed to a wooden box in which the book was stowed, and then carefully removed it. It was the largest book Raen had ever see

FORCED TO MATE THE WEREWOLF HUNTER

FORCED TO MATE THE WEREWOLF HUNTER

Vaelspire Keep, The Forbidden Vault The Vault doors groaned open, revealing shelves lined with tomes bound in skin and bone. All the ancient and forbidden books of the old were stored and recorded there. Books with knowledge too ancient, too powerful, and useful to their enemies were stored here. Alaric stepped inside, torch in hand, his eyes scanning until they found the one he needed. It read, Bloodborne Bonds: Curses, Hybrids, and Abominations. He flipped through the pages, stopping when he saw an illustration that made his heart freeze.
