Such particular periods include some traditional festivals, like Spring Festival, Christmas, Valentine's Day, etc. In the “King of Glory”, game designers like designing the particular time skins of game characters to change the appearance and clothes of the game characters. For example, in history, Xiao Qiao and Zhou Yu were famous couples in the Three Kingdoms period, so the designer took this as a highlight and released their game character’s skin featuring Valentine's Day on Valentine's Day. They wore white wedding dresses with a familiar western church as the background. This image attracted the attention of players who are couples. Such a marketing strategy is to combine character image

“You’re one of those conspiracy people.” “I am,” she said proudly. “Thank you for noticing.” I poured tea into mugs and added sugar, too much, as usual. Bailey watched, horrified. “Sweet tea,” she said, sounding like she’d discovered a crime. “You’re a sweet tea person.” “Yes,” I said, defensive on principle. Bailey leaned closer, eyes gleaming. “Okay. So here’s what we do. We start a book club.” I blinked. “What?” “A book club,” she repeated, like it was obvious. “For romance. Specifically romantic fantasy. Specifically.” she lowered her voice again, conspiratorial “ the ones with wolves.”

The point was, they didn’t seem to mind my sporadic, off-the-wall quirkiness, and so they were the best friends I’d ever had. They hadn’t even balked when I announced we were going to start a book club together, and better yet, they hadn’t naysayed me when I’d picked out the first handful of books we’d read. They were completely fine with the fact that I’d chosen only happily-ever-after novels to discuss. So I had decided which day we’d first meet, and then—

I giggled. "I think I'll read it too then." "You should. What's the next book?" "ENTER THE DRAGON by CLIVE CUSSLER." All the books were marked with a white X by the side so they were easier to find and place side by side. "Finally. YOU SHOULD HAVE KNOWN by JEAN HAFF KORELITZ." "That one's deep." All the books had one thing in common: they all had sprinkles and bits of thrillers in them.

DIXIE THUMBED THROUGH THE book, the group's conversation washing over her. Book club night usually energized her. It was a bi-monthly opportunity to be in a room full of women she counted as friends. They'd selected a paranormal book this time, and though Dixie had tried she just couldn't get into it. Hear head and heart were stuck in the real world and no amount of sexy werewolf shifter could fix that. Shonda leaned over and gestured at Dixie's plate. "Are you done with your dinner?"

I can't imagine spending time with him outside the hospital; I'd be too awed to speak. "All right, ladies!" Cindy taps a spoon against her glass to get our attention. "We're a book club, so we need to at least look like we're talking about this week's read." She reaches down to take a hardback book out of her bright pink beach bag. "Elin Hilderbrand's The Rumor-so much to unpack here. Who wants to start?" When none of us say a word, Cindy heaves a loud sigh. "Okay, children. I see you're going to make me work for this one. The book is told from four different points of view. Which did you relate to the most?"

Elias pulled out a book and pen from her bag along with her keys, then she handed the bag to Chloe, "I gotta get to the book club now or I'm gonna be late. I'll come to your apartment to get my bag when I'm done," "Alright, see you," "Bye," Elias waved back as she turned around and jogged back into school. They usually held the book club meeting at the art studio, along with a few other students who loved reading, especially Romance novels. The club was composed mostly of girls, with half being nerds like her. Usually, the Club was held for a total of about four hours, but they finished early today, and Elias was walking toward the main college gate alone. It was late afternoon, and the sky

It was more for Kendra's sake, but Demitri would be lying if he said he didn't enjoy an excuse to spend more time with his friends. Every Friday after school, Kendra, Steve, and Kyle would join them for book club. They each took turns picking the book, but as usual Becca and Demitri were the only two that actually cared. While they had written summaries and detailed notes about the book, the others brought blank paper most the time so they could catch just enough facts to make it seem like they read it.

And last call, time to pack up and go. This time of the day was both of our favorites. A great book club, with great conversations, growth that is hard to anticipate, and to end the day a nice walk in the park. Sometimes followed with conversation, not too deep or too light, and the most important thing is being together. Words didn’t matter all that much, like our company. Our choice to start the walk was a nearby garden with different flowers, insects galore, and, if lucky, the occasional squirrel, bunny, or bat.

“Guys, seriously, I don’t know why everyone struggles with Victorian literature. It’s really genius. Ethan Lee, with his signature half-smile and meticulously organized notes, leaned back in his chair. Genius? Really Bella, people barely make it through Jane Eyre without falling asleep. I’m impressed you haven’t taken a nap yet. Clara, who had reluctantly agreed to join them, glanced up from her notes. You’d be surprised, Ethan. Sometimes, the story picks the right moment to grab you. It’s like… it’s alive. Bella laughed, a musical, infectious sound. “Exactly! And that’s why you need a proper reading group. One mind alone can’t capture all the nuances its just going to bore you.
