I go to my book-shelf and pull out a book that reads, Gone Girl by Giliian Flynn on the front cover. I've always loved mysteries; I can't remember one day where I wasn't watching Criminal Minds or Goosebumps in my room.

I sat beside her, and she immediately stretched her legs back out, her feet landing in my lap. "What are you reading?" She held up the book without looking away from the page. "A mystery novel. A detective in Victorian London." I caught sight of the cover. A woman in a low-cut dress leaned against a man in a top hat, their faces inches apart in the fog. The Scarlet Letter Murders. I grabbed the book from her hands. "Hey!" She sat up, reaching for it. I flipped through a few pages. My eyes landed on a passage. His mouth found the hollow of her throat as his fingers worked the laces of her corset…

"Just Black Rose business. The usual chaos." She didn't look convinced but she didn't push, and I was grateful for that. We sat there in the quiet, the afternoon light streaming through the window and painting everything in shades of gold and amber. She started telling me about the book she'd been reading, some mystery novel that Elias had sworn she'd enjoy, and I found myself listening not to the words but to the sound of her voice, the way it rose and fell with her enthusiasm. When it was first released last year, the bookstores had it sold out on the first day because of how much of a hit it was to the public, it got an outstanding review from the Times and even won awards internationally. Not to mention it's my favorite book of hers. It certainly deserves the title of 'best'.

"Because this novel is very full of mystery and unpredictable storyline,You will never suspect or be able to guess who committed the crime in this novel.All my guesses turned out to be wrong!
